Love this place. My son does year-round swim here and it’s usually pretty packed out for meets. Definitely get here early if you’re coming to a meet and you want a bleacher seat, if not, bring a folding chair or try to grab a seat outside in the lobby. Also, pack snacks/drinks because their vending machines are iffy. They’re known to take your money and not give anything in return or just flat out be empty. But all in all, it’s a great place! I’ve been coming here since I was a little girl, lots of things to do outside as well.

I loved this community center my whole life growing up! My favorite part of this place is the beautiful park, the trail & indoor pool! Although, In recent times there has been very rude staff members in the entrance who just don’t give the welcoming feeling you’d like. Hopefully the attitude changes around and Residents can be welcomed in the right way.

Nice tennis facility. Plenty of parking. Reasonable prices. My favorite thing is the ample amount of room behind the baseline you have. 2 rows of 3 courts for 6 total. Sometimes balls can roll under the curtains and can easily go from 1 row to the other. It's not a big deal, just happening perhaps 2 or 3 times per hour, but I wish this could be improved.

Update- I've seen people working in the pool a month ago and changing tiles. I have not been in there though. I have seen doors with signature of cleaning that have been up to date.

Went during open swim hours with a 7 and 3 year old. There were plenty of space and lanes open. Many lifeguards were on duty around the entire area.
I haven't been since the pandemic, so it was nice to return and see many of the same lifeguards teaching classes and on duty. The staff is always friendly and knowledgeable. The facilities were normally clean.
The floor was a little dirty around the swim areas and many of the seating was wet due to the roof dripping in several areas. I see used gum, leaf, hair, paper, and other things on the floor.
Seating is limited around the pool areas but there are many upstairs in the bleachers area. There's also an area outside the bleachers. Normally they have tables and chairs, but I can't remember seeing them today.

I wasn't so sure about driving all the way to Fairland from my side of MD but after dropping in the first time I didn't feel so bad. The place was ver clean. They enforce the mask covng for sure (sir please pull up your mask ..one staffer said to a man who was one of 3 people in the sitting area watching the kids swim) and I appreciate that. They are doing all they can to keep the kids safe and keep the environment sanitized. Bathrooms were very clean. The staff isn't super talkative but their greetings are sufficient to acknowledge you in the building and get you signed in.

While the kids swim, play soccer,baseball or softball you can verbture around the facility outs
Doors and do some brisk walking or jogging as I do. You are even able to utozr the fileds if none of the teams (if reserved) are on it. I like jogging around the outfield of the diamonds for my 45 min wait. I usually get 10 -15 laps or so in before kids pickup. Always meet my 12k step goal😁

The guy who works the open gym on Thursdays is super rude and has a bunch of obnoxious rules that they don’t have any other day. Also my toddler got athletes foot from open gym. Everything smells like feet and no one cleans anything. So gross.
