I first became a resident in 2018, out of necessity. I was working + going to school, and the rent was affordable + included everything. Seven years later, I choose this as my home. Stacy + Jennifer have always viewed this as my home, I'm not just another "unit". They're kind, professional, + get things done! The maintenance guys are awesome! They respond quickly, and everything has always been fixed, w/o any issues. The grounds are kept nice. The buildings are older, but home is what you make of it! I've decorated my apartment, it's comfortable + cozy, I feel safe here, and am able to save here. I've never had pest issues, except for the occasional mouse in winter. I've met some very nice neighbors, we've gone to church together, swapped recipes, and we all look out for each other. I've read some negative reviews, and I have never had any problems, ever. I recommend Essex Village.

I wanted the owners of Essex Village apartments to be aware of how invaluable Stacy Hailey is to your company!! Her skill set is immeasurable!! I'm most impressed with her character, her honesty and work ethic!! It means a lot, when you have confidence in the people, that are responsible for keeping things in check. When I first moved to Essex Village / Marlyn Gardens in 2021 Stacy is who I first encountered. I will never forget how pleasant and helpful she was from explaining the application process to calling me with excitement to let me know that I was approved. She ALWAYS has a smile on her face I have never met a more sincere, caring and genuine person. Whenever I would stop in with an issue big or small (which were very few issues) Stacy always showed concern and ensured that the issue would be resolved asap, AND IT WAS!! While I was there it was never just about the issue we would have conversations about family and life in general and was genuinely interested in what I had to say. She shared pictures of her son and also introduced me to him which touched my heart. I didn’t just look at her as a then rental agent she became my friend. I moved away in 2023 but not before Stacy offered me a different apartment just to keep me as a resident. This shows how much she values her tenants and goes above and beyond to keep them happy and satisfied with their stay here. It is now 2025 and I just moved back to Essex Village/ Marlyn Gardens. I called Stacy to see about eligibility and she was AGAIN very excited and happy to hear from me and gladly welcomed me back! That was the most heartfelt conversation I could have had with her. Stacy is now the Property Manager and I AM SOO HAPPY FOR HER BY THE WAY WELL DESERVED!! 😊 She is by far a great one, I have never experienced any encounter with no other rental company like what she provides. she has personally been to my new apartment to ensure that all was up to par and to her standards before I moved in. Stacy doesn’t just make you feel like a tenant she makes you feel like family and happy to live here.😍

The assistant manager Gennifer is amazing! She’s extremely helpful in every way possible. She’s very nice and made me feel super welcomed and does her absolute BEST in assisting and being understanding with any questions, concerns or anything you might want/need that may need to be resolved. Her professionalism is amazing as well! Lease here!

Ms Jennifer is awesome ! She is very helpful and friendly as far as house tours, setting up personal accounts and she explains everything very carefully and clearly , very patient. Me and my child feel safe here we love her and ms Stacy, mis Stacy is very nice and helpful very good when it comes to payments ect. as well I totally recommend these 2 for sure ! They care about their residence and are the sweetest people ❤️❤️❤️

The office staff is excellent. The girls are friendly and they always make time for me. They fix any problems I have with Essex Village I can’t handle myself.
