I absolutely loved this hotel! The decor is beautiful, front desk friendly and helpful. Upon checking in we were offered a welcome cocktail which was a very nice touch. ||I had a classic king room, which was ready at check in. The room is very nicely appointed, comfortable bed and soft linens. Complimentary snacks and sodas in room. Each floor has a complimentary coffee and water station with fruit and ice available as well. ||Frannie & the Fox has amazing pizza and delicious cocktails. ||Will definitely stay again!

Best service ever….we were with a tour group and arrived at the hotel early, 9:30 am and our room was ready….very nice room looking at the courtyard. Went for Sunday brunch at the hotel and Jimmy was our waiter…he could not have been nicer….breakfast was included and we got vouchers to order off the menu…so many good choices! In the courtyard there was a double fireplace and heat lamps, couches and comfy chairs. There is a coffee bar on each floor …each room has bottles to fill with either still or sparking water. Ice in bags in a freezer there as well. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was great…did I review the location It is located in the historic district, near the city markets, shopping, great nearby restaurants, carriage rides….when returning to Charleston we will definitely stay here.|Thank you Chris and Tania…..

1. Limited hot water|2. Limited access to water despite supposedly being on every floor|3. Requested room service 3 times before they came|3. Alarm went off randomly in the morning, and at 9am they asked when we would leave so they could clean. |4. Broken peloton bike in gym without notice.|5. Supposed to have water on every floor but was broken and no alternative offered. |6. Offered credits which were NEVER applied as part of our room upgrade--where our $100 coffee credit is we will never know. They gave us an itemized receipt so thats confusing. |7. Bag check was pushy to use their taxi service at $40 but then when booked no one arrived and we had to rush an uber to the airport. ||Had potential but at that price point, the service quality was supremely lacking.

Doug at Franny & The Fox was great. Made a great drink full drink (Jersey style:)), was funny and attentive. Offered some conversation about other good spots and the area. A nice place to end our evening. No complaints. Bar area had a nice comfortable vibe.

Savannah and Doug!! Thank you for making our experience so wonderful! Savannah is a ray of sunshine. Doug was so friendly and knowledgeable. They were VERY BUSY when we sat down but they both took the best care of us and kept a smile on their faces. They gave recommendations for the menu that were spot on and even recommended where we should go after dinner for live music. |Back bar best bar!!

Location is great, walkable to many great venues. The aesthetics of the hotel are nice. Staff was fine but not very friendly. Never asked us how our stay was.

We had room 130 which was very noisy. Close to restaurant and lobby. Not sure who / what is above that room but they were rearranging furniture all night. Heat / air conditioner was noisy.

No water in the room but two diet cokes instead, weird. Had to go upstairs to get water / coffee and only paper cups for water, again strange choice.
