Local pizza spot specific to Ellijay with very unique, authentic wood fire oven pizzas. We tried several options among the red and white pizzas both with my personal favorite (not pictured) the shiitake truffle pizza. For the flavor, I think the prices are justified. They had excellent salad option with plenty of protein as well and fondue that was very smooth, complementary to the bread with limited tastes of alcohol (traditionally used to prepare it). Other than the salads, limited gluten free options but they did accommodate to provide cucumbers to use with the fondue.

Interior is very nicely decorated and on theme with the restaurant. Only docs on the service and atmosphere were the limited seating/space that made things at times feel crowded and possibly stressed out the hostess.

We decided to go through Elijay today not aware of the Apple Art Festival. As a first time visitor to the downtown area we were unsure about dining this establishment was very busy with great aromas and a good vibe. Quickly seated by very friendly staff. Excellent menu selections, we went for the humus appetizer and white pizza with 5 cheeses and hot honey. The service was great even thought the house was packed and the food was outstanding. The 3 version humus was terrific and the fresh baked bread was tender with just the right amount of crust. The pizza was truly next level. I’m confident in saying that it was in the top 5 pizzas of my life, and I’ve had some pretty great pies. Highly recommended, I was blown away.

We visit Ellijay every year and always make time for a meal at Ellijay Wood Fired Pizza. It gets busy fast and there's always a wait... But it's worth it! Everything we've had has been amazing, but my favorites are the French Onion soup and the mushroom pizza.

It's a cool spot. It's always busy when we come. We always sit at the bar. They have large parties of 8-10 that take up the tables. The food is great. I love the specials. The beer selection is great. All around great place to eat.

so yummy! a group of 5 came in at 6:30 and we got seated right away. our server was madeline & she was a gem! we split a caesar salad which was yummy. i got the black goat pizza which was SO. GOOD. highly recommend. my friend got the shiitake mushroom pizza; they didn’t have enough mushrooms to cover the pizza so they comped it which was really nice! would definitely come back when back in ellijay!

Highly recommend this place if you want an amazing Caesar salad with smoked chicken thighs. Also, the hummus was a meal in itself and a great combination. We enjoyed Sangria and a margarita too. I’ll be back!

February Friday night and the place was full, but not packed. We were seated immediately, and the service was friendly. We ordered the pesto and artichoke white pizza. It was quite tasty , but a tad greasier than we would prefer. Service was great and attentive. When we walked in, we were pleased that it was just the quiet chatter of the others eating instead of music, but after placing drink orders the music came on. It was not loud, but what played was random and didn't fit the intimate atmosphere we entered. The bathroom was clean and we liked the portrait of Bill Murray.
