The physical beach itself is not very good, especially compared to the other beaches at gunpowder. It’s really muddy and there are large rocks in the water near the shore and it makes launching boats a pain.

Sailing lesson with John June 22 was awesome. Great day on the water. The 3 hours went by quickly but not too quick. I'll go back to rent a catamaran soon and take another lesson to boot.

Sailing lesson was terrific! CJ did an excellent job making it accessible and I felt right at home when we got on the water. The river was wide and warm and beautiful, what a perfect day for it. Can’t wait to come back and try a solo sail!

Had a great sailing lesson with CJ. He was very thorough, personable and informative. By the end I felt comfortable that I'll be able to rent a Hobie and go out on my own. I've also rented a SUP from this company in the past without issue. The location is good, the equipment is in good shape, and the staff is helpful.

Here are some tips:
1. If you don't call ahead and you're unsure of going to the Hammerman Beach or Dundee Creek location, go to the Dundee one first since there's no park entrance fee there. If whatever you want to rent ends up being at the Hammerman location, it'll only be a 3 minute drive away. Google Maps is accurate on the location for both.
2. You can fill out the waivers on their website ahead of time from your phone or computer instead of using their tablet
3. Bring cheap sunglasses, or wear an eyewear retainer if you have one
4. if you're using your phone as a watch, don't forget some kind of waterproof bag which can then hook onto to whatever equipment you're renting.

Easily one of the most hassle free, reliable and reputable watersport rental companies in the area. I rented their Hobie Cat Bravo and it was awesome! The boat was in fantastic and safe condition. After a quick practical test to demonstrate my sailing skills I was off to share the love and joy of sailing with my two boys. The boundaries for sailing was enormous! I felt like I could go far and enjoy the strong winds and explore the area. The price for the rentals can't be beat! It made my time at the park very memorable and my kids can't stop talking about the fun staff and kindness shown to us all by the team.
