My partner and I took a road trip to Maine and after a series of crazy events found ourselves without a safe place to sleep at 11:30 PM with all local motels/hotels/campsites either closed or fully booked. As a Hail Mary, we called this campsite and the owner, Paul, picked up and gave us a safe, beautiful place to sleep for the night. He was very accommodating, kind, and understanding, and offered to let us stay the night free of charge. So, not only is this spot run by genuinely good, kind hearted people, but the location is also beautiful, clean, and inviting. We spent the night looking out over the lake and listening to loon calls. Next time we come to Maine, we plan to stay here!!!

The campground is beautiful as are the watersides rv/tent spots. It is on the pricey side ($70 per night on the water for an <20" rv site with hook ups); the water view sites are more reasonably priced. The shower room is what keeps me from rating this a 5 star. Out of 4 showers, I could only find 1 that had hot water.

I love it here but I would rather pay more nightly then $4 for chocolate milk, $40 for pj bottoms etc, also when I went to buy slush I was able to put $4 on my debit card however when my husband went to use his debit card another women told him $10 minimum, one particular taller skinny older women in the store needs an attitude adjustment, why work here if you want to be miserable the whole time, giving attitude to kids etc at the store, also non refundable cancellations seems a little much but then on top of it when you reschedule even if it’s the same site non holiday you get charged a $25 fee plus tax, I don’t agree with this because if I reschedule the trip for the same site and season on a non holiday I shouldn't get a fee however if I was going on a non holiday and switched to a holiday I get the extra charge, overall we love it but as I said the reschedule fee is nuts as is the price of items in the store

I stayed here, with my 79-year-old mother, for two nights. We loved it! We stayed in a bunk house. It had electricity, which was needed for a CPAP machine. All the campsites at that end of the campground are pleasantly big. There are some r.v. sites as you enter the campground that are very close together, but the rest of the campground is nice. The lake is beautiful and we heard loons frequently.

Quiet, clean campground with lake access. The staff is friendly and helpful. A playground is available. The sites need leveling work but that appeared to be happening while we were there. The bonfire pit smoldered all week and unfortunately blew right into our camper which I didn't love, but that is my only real complaint. Bath houses were available but we didn't use them.

We just spent Memorial Day weekend. The campground is beautiful! But....our campsite was too small and we couldn't level the camper so we spent the nights in misery trying to sleep. An 18 ft would have been perfect, we have a 24 ft. And the golfcarts are all day long, nonstop and last up to 11 pm, nonstop The noise, dust, and fumes are beyond annoying. One of the great pleasures of camping, for me, is listen to the children playing and the peace and quiet at night. Not here, the golfcarts steal the joy.

We had a less than perfect experience and the owners were quick and very generous in “fixing it.” Customer service is clearly their jam.

Though the campground is not really my cup of tea (very packed in with little to no privacy, lots of larger “party vibe” groups, golf carts everywhere) I can see why so many people like it. There’s a ton to do, facilities were clean, the lake is beautiful, and the owners are clearly great people. I might give it another go, not in Aug 😉.

We stayed in site 119, gravel, fairly level, As pictured the utilities are quite far so we did have to buy another sewer hose form the store. Which they graciously opened after hours so we could get set up and showered. This is one of the NICEST Campgrounds we've been too. Love there are no breed restrictions and we could set up our fence. Lovely mowed trails around the park, the store actually has useful things in there. lovely beach and large play area for kids. The dogs are allowed to swim off the dock area. Reasonably priced, internet not great but useable (we have ATT&T) Laundry Facilities are as expected at campgrounds, but they are pretty cheap which was nice. Nearest amenities are all about 10 minutes away for groceries and gas etc. Love that they host Yoga 3 times per week in the very pretty barn. If you are looking to go a little off-grid and just have a vacation. This place is ideal.
