I was making plans for my family reunion and a friend told me to check out Douglasville Convention Center. Once there I was directed to Rylee and she shared with me their upcoming Family Reunion info meeting and tour info guide. It was held a few weeks later and it was very informative. It shared ideas and great locations offered in Douglasville, Ga. I was so excited and booked one of the parks for my upcoming reunion. The presentation was great. Everyone who spoke gave direct info about their facility and how to reserve. I am so glad I attended this meeting and guild tour it has taken so much stress away from my planning. In the presentation it was noted if requested guest bags are available upon request and Rylee and her team prepared my requested guest bags for my reunion. I am truly blessed and grateful for this great team that Douglasville Convention & Visitors Bureau has in place. I must say Rylee and her team are the BEST.

The CVB! What can I say about this team? … Just amazing to be around with. Every single one of them.
I’ve had the Honor to personally work with them and the attention, the positivity and the amazing ideas that they are coming up to better DOUGLASVILLE is just wonderful! How they come together and make things happen so smoothly. I have been in Douglasville since I was 9 and the incredible accomplishments I have seen truly warms my heart. They have been able to bring to life so many parks and events that I have never had the chance to visit or never even heard of. I even took their advice and went to one of the most talked about parks “Sweetwater Creek State Park” - WHAT AN AMAZING TIME! I even went on one the coldest days and it was totally worth it! I can’t wait to see how the experience will be in the summer.
The CVB communicates and shares so many adventures for many years to cherish. They completely assist you as soon as you walk in the door, with the biggest smile on their face. I’m truly excited to see more of their ideas and events in the coming years. From visitors guide, wedding preparations, to fun challenges, fantastic outdoor events, tasty items as well as local art in the community. Without their help I would not have had the pleasure of truly experiencing a small town ambiance turn into a Big town Fun!
