I wouldn't recommend even driving through this town avoid at all cost !!!! I give the town and the system of desoto county a zero star rating complete rubbish .....i cringed when it wouldn't let me post without leaving a star. They should tear the whole town down

I had received a ticket and needed assistance on what my choices were, what to do next, and the time frame depending on my choices.
I was connected with Heather Vest. Ms. Vest couldn't have been nicer, more patient, and more helpful. I never felt rushed while talking with her. I never felt like she rolled her eyes. Yes. You can hear that over the phone. Ms. Vest made me feel that she really cared. She made sure I understood my choices. She was never condescending.
I was upset about the ticket. But, in hind sight, I never would have had the pleasure of meeting someone as nice and caring as Ms. Vest. I hope the Desoto Clerk's Office realizes how lucky they are to have her and what a blessing she is.

Trash utter trash corruption everywhere clear violation of florida state statutes and no county doesnt supercede state regulations since violating state statute 948.031d is corruption investigation will be launched and desoto county probation officer refused to take her original hours due to be done at a food bank ran by a church which in of itself is county corruption theres no integrity just so happens her original hours were done by a charlotte county recognized 501C3 where as when asking if to transfer probation to charlotte county it was refused attatched is state regulations which county cannot superced and must abide by state legislation

Interesting old architecture here at the courthouse. There's a park nearby and even though there's considerable vehicle traffic down the road here it's a pleasant place to walk around and enjoy the oak shaded streets and old stately home still here.

No one would answer the phone, after the computer throws you into a dead silence which lasts about 2-3 min. You cannot get ANYONE to answer the phone. My dads death certificates are in limbo somewhere and there’s no one to ask. Terrible service.
