It was a Classy looking event, and the food was good. However, the layout didn't say "take a plate" and the whole water glasses on the table, but the water on the drink-coffee-desert buffet was an odd choice.

The ceremony was beautiful and moving. The audio was clear. However, the setup was more of a "the band goes here" of a classic ballroom. The room was a l-shape, which is good for the flow of a ballroom to dining room flow, but not so much of a sit-down ceremony.

The space on one end of the L wasn't used and was large, so people naturally congregated there instead of moving on to the dining area.

Talk of the event was the event host couldn't take home the leftovers. It was agreed this was a wasteful practice. I don't know how true it is, but I wasn't even chatting with event organizers. The catering service didn't fill the water cups on the table, making getting water a multi-part event (find seat, get cup, go to water station, go back to seat, get food, back to seat). Why put the cups at the seats if unfilled? Plates were at the buffet, so they know the concept.

I have been to Club Meade several times, and they always put on a nice event. This time, it was for Change of Station.

The new manager Kelly, and the Club Meade staff put on a wonderful Mothers' Day spread. Well organized, beautiful setup, flowers for the moms, delicious food. Well done Club Meade!

5 stars for food, 4 stars for venue, and 5 stars for the staff. It is a military club, so it suffers from some of the limitations placed upon it (to include challenge of getting enough cleared staff), but they put together incredible events with what they have. We recently did the Daddy-Daughter Ball and Mother's Day Brunch. We have gone here for several wing nights and a whole host of various ceremonies and events.

Cheap alcohol and a nice area for receptions. Bathrooms are spacious and have a separate area for makeup touchups.

However, they do not serve lunch here. They are open for private catering events only.

Only time they are open otherwise is for wing night on Thursdays.

Very nice place for family gatherings. We usually have our family Thanksgiving here. I've been going here since my childhood when it was the Officer's Club. In fact, that is where my wife and I had our Wedding Reception. Great food, good service.
