I honestly just forgot to pay my bill due to unexpected family health issues. I paid it at 9:41 am in full. A day later still no water. I don't understand why they tell you they will have back on the same day.

Our water was shut off although our account is current and on auto pay. Verify looking at the last statement and we are 100% paid up and our water has been turned off since last night and they wont turn it back on unless I go to City Hall first. Complete waste of time.

UPDATE. The people were nice and helpful enough but there is certainly room to improve customer experience. The automated system is far from perfect and has too many holes in it. Third Payment system, inability to review or correct auto pay online, notifications, payment terms are all issues in my particular case. I will update my review to 3 stars ONLY IF AND AFTER my water is back on TODAY due to the kind people in the office but the system is faulty from the consumer side. Was also told I HAD to come to the office and miss work when in fact it could have been a 5 minute phone call.

Turned off my services after two weeks of being late, made a payment with a representative who said someone will be out that day to turn my water on, got back home from work, and the water was still turned off and they were already closed, so my son and I both could not take a shower. I’ve been calling all morning since they’ve opened and I’m still waiting for my water to get turned on so I can go to work today. The representatives are liars and say that they do not have a way to keep track of their workers who will come back out to turn the water on. Communication is nonexistent and customer service is extremely poor. Do better, Richmond Hill.

I wouldn't even give them a star if I didn't have to. Lady who answers the phone needs a class on customer service. Communication regarding water services is crucial and the lack thereof is beyond pathetic. Something really needs to be done. As a community we pride ourselves on living in such a great town but little kinks like our water company make it frustrating. Do better Richmond Hill water company.

Terrible service… Water was disconnected without any type of communication. When contacted about the issue, I was told that it would be back on by the end of the business day and that I don’t have to be present, but what is one to do when they need to bathe before going to work? It’s been over 2 hours and nothing has been resolved. I have to leave my residence in 30 minutes for my shift. Most definitely going to relocate once this lease is up. Very unprofessional and inconsiderate staff here.

I had the worst experience ever ! They turned off my water with no notice and it took them literally 5 days to turn it on and I paid it the same day . The who answers the phone is also unprofessional. They’re very inconsiderate when it comes to others.

Where do I begin? Not enough character space. Let’s just say they’ve turned my water off by accident twice and once because their system failed to do auto pay.
