Good evening, we hope this comment finds you all well. We are posting this comment to you regarding a complaint regarding the sales process used by one of the Westgate Resorts team members, specifically at Town Center, Kissimme, Florida. We have been owners since 2017, specifically Westgate Lakes, Florida, and this time while on vacation at the Town Center property we upgraded to a new property, as we attended the corresponding presentation for the purpose of updating us on the development of Westgate and other information. Westgate Resorts team member, salesman Eliezer Q. , who was our presenter sold us "villas and castles (dreams)", regarding a supposed new referral program that Westgate has (which was supposedly different from the one we were already aware of of Travel Partners), this new program involved the supposed automation of referrals by Westgate, where, as final owners, we did not have much to do since Westgate did it for us. Another, and no less important one that Eliezer Q. told us about, was being able to upgrade one more unit and be all-season, was also being able to rent the weeks through external tools (Airbnb, for example - specifically mentioned by him, even mentioning and presenting the record of other owners who carried out said activity), he clarifying to us that this should not be mentioned at the time of closing the contract. Anyway, after seeing the possibilities that he presented, he hurriedly took us to the area to close the contract, where we mentioned to him that he had not even presented us with the unit that was going to be upgraded (obviously his interest was to sell, not to satisfy the client-owner). After having mentioned this to him, he agrees to present the unit to us, but as we mentioned before, in a hasty manner, since the documents to be signed were previously prepared. When practically signing the documents, we noticed that the property that we previously owned was relatively superior (not in terms of number of rooms, but in terms of distribution, which Eliezer obviously did not take into account, since he was more focused on making the sale than satisfying the owner). In any case, one of the things that he put a lot of emphasis on was advising us on updating the Travel Partners program, in which Westgate did the promotion for us), and therefore, he would be available to call us, or call them at least one hour per month, to give us said advice (something that never happened, we can send you evidence of numerous text messages, attempted calls, from which we never received a response). It was after sending him messages, (one month after the purchase-update) he decided to return, and supposedly show us, said tool, but the truth is that we were quite dissatisfied with this sales process, and currently feel very dissatisfied with being part of Westgate Resorts as owners. And to make it even more dissatisfied, when I contact the Owners Relations department, I am greeted by a representative called (I think Karina, since she flatly refuses to give me her last name, for reference purposes with whom I had spoken, understanding that For purposes of professionalism, when you work for a company, you must provide at least your name, since I am not really calling a private residence at that moment, but rather a company and that person is part of that company). With this, we are looking for all the tools or possibilities to end said contract, because more than being a satisfaction, we feel that more than a well-being of continuing to be part of Westgate, Eliezer Q., focused on, let's say, using tools or false hopes of make a sale. The timeshare folks were extremely aggressive. They called us, "wastes of time," when we said we were not going to buy an $80,000 timeshare.
