This is by far the best marina I have been to on the east coast. Everyone we met was extremely nice and helpful. The owners Jax and Evan were amazing too. They even moved some other boats around to ensure we would be able to get out at sunrise the next morning. Even the custodians were nice! (I met one named Emma and she was very nice.)

Our experience was at the marine store, not the actual Marina. We were staying on a boat in the harbor and called looking for a common "head" marine part. The girl who answered the phone was clueless. Not familiar with the brand or even what the part was and did not offer to check with anyone else. We walked over anyway and I'm guessing it was the same girl sitting at a table with someone, playing on her phone. No greeting. Someone else did come out and after a couple minutes determined that did not carry it. Meanwhile there were boxes piled near the entrance looking like product to be checked in. Could have been a good way for her to familiarize herself with the product! I think this store is relatively new. Maybe try to get some energetic help in there.

Continues to be a comfortable place to land where we can get help and necessities for almost anything. Love the new restaurant - whole family happy and relaxed. Love the new and previous owners. Have been going here for generations.

Friendly dock and store helpers. Jack is always helpful. Not far to walk to the pedestrian bridge into town. Easy dinghy ride over to tiwn. Good bar, decent restaurant. Nice showers and laundry, though the laundry is 2.75 per machine. Decent marine store. We always stay here when we come to Boothbay.

Jack and his staff are great. The location is the best in the harbor and the Whale's Tale restaurant has excellent food and a very welcoming atmosphere.
