Really enjoy this hotel and their additional properties. Perfect place to stay in Camden. We have come back several years in a row and plan to come again next year. The staff is great, super friendly and the location can't be beat anytime of year.

Our family stayed in the extended stay side of the hotel for Camden's famous US National Toboggan Championships over the weekend. We loved the event and had a less-than-stellar hotel experience. Our impression was that the hotel is likely lovely when it is staffed up in the summer but that in the winter, they are not around and are disinterested in servicing the hotel guests. Unfortunately, we did not know this when we booked the hotel for our first trip to Camden for this well-attended and world-famous event.

From the first disinterested and unwelcoming communication with the manager via email, "There will be no use of the indoor heated pool or the continental breakfast during your stay" to the dirty walls, smeary outlets, and broken kitchen appliances, lack of heat, and disinterest in getting the well-advertised in-room fireplace working when we called ("yeah, another unit called about that, too -- they're broken I guess"), it was clear there was an overall lack of interest in our experience. And that was a disappointment. The sheets were clean. Many walls had screws or nails in them as though the "art" had been removed for the season in anticipation of painting. The walls needed a fresh coat of paint. All of the bathroom hardware was in disrepair or off of the walls all together, and the kitchen and tub drains barely drained at all.

Wonderful hotel. All of the staff were super nice. It sits in the perfect location to walk anywhere in Camden you choose to go. We liked that there was coffee available at anytime in the lobby. The breakfast was nice offering sausage ,eggs, as well as the usual continental things. We loved walking through the flower bridge each day and seeing all of the plants. They have made a special effort to have this lovely garden. We will stay there again

Another fantastic stay at the Camden Riverhouse -- our third year in a row spending two days at this hotel following Thanksgiving!||Everything was great -- from the check-in experience until the moment we left. We always enjoy the wonderful breakfast and love the guy in charge; he takes good care of everyone.||This hotel is within walking distance of Camden's downtown restaurants and shops. It is affordable and convenient. It offers many unique features, such as a cozy sitting area, a s'mores bar, and a stack of umbrellas in the event you forgot yours.||They think of everything at the Camden Riverhouse -- all of the bases are covered.

A quintessential New England experience awaits you in this lovely coastal town. The Riverhouse is within an easy walking distance to all as it is right in the downtown area. The rooms are simply appointed, spacious and clean, parking is steps away. We especially enjoyed the church bells that chimed close by on the hour. You can open the windows of your suite and enjoy the fresh air a plus for me in my opinion! The water pressure in showers was also a plus for me as well as the luxurious towels. All in all a great experience and we would come again.

My mother and I enjoyed every aspect of the charming Camden Riverhouse. The first floor ADA room we had was very spacious and clean, with comfy beds and huge bath - a great deal for the price. The breakfast is generous and the breakfast room sunny and also spacious. The building is older and has lots of beautiful wood accents and wainscoting, and the owners have made it into a friendly, homey space to perch. They even have two acoustic "guest guitars" if you want to sing a song, which I did! Only a few steps away and you're in the heart of Camden's main street. We were surprised by the lovely garden space, which has a fire pit patio and flowers galore. The parking lot is so convenient, a front entrance ramp, and there is an elevator as well. |Finally, we had some rebooking issues due to a flight cancellation, and the Riverhouse staff were terrific in helping us navigate the changes to our reservation.|We would love to come back and highly recommend this hotel. Kudos to the Riverhouse Inn!

If you are looking to stay in Camden, you need to stay at this homey, warm and charming hotel! This past weekend we were traveling and wanted to bring our pups with us to explore this beautiful town. Not only did they allow us to bring our two extra large dogs (no breed restrictions!), the front desk staff were extremely accommodating throughout our stay. Every time we were in the lobby with the dogs, they stopped to say hi and offered them treats. Aside from being great hosts to our dogs, they are extremely gracious to the guests as well. The continental breakfast was great (and the man working the breakfast was extremely helpful!), the rooms were clean and tidy and the front desk staff had great recommendations for restaurants, things to do and places to see while we were in the area. We will definitely be back, thank you to the staff at Camden Riverhouse!
