El lugar, la habitación y el jardín eran idílicos (casi un sueño), pero aún mejor (y eso es muy dificil) fue el trato humano y el gusto por el detalle que tienen Roberta y Claudio, todo son atenciones y amabilidad (te informan de todo lo que en la zona es interesante con mucho criterio y eso es fundamental). La decoración es exquisita, el paseo por el jardín es una agradable experiencia, se respira armonía y perfección. Nuestra estancia en Maine Stay fue de tres días y la verdda es que constituyó la sorpresa más agradable e inolvidable de todo nuestro viaje, que fue de 20 días por la costa nordeste de USA.||||La ubicación, el jardín, la habitación, el desayuno... y sobre todo, el trato que te ofrecen Roberta y Claudio, un trato inmejorable, y para acabarlo de mejorar, Claudio, que es italiano, habla un perfecto castellano, cosa que a los viajeros de España o Latino América les ayudará de cara a recomendaciones o consejos sobre qué lugares de la zona visitar. ||||Sin lugar a dudas, un paraíso dentro del paraíso que es la Costa de Maine. Un lugar con mucha clase, donde cada detalle está cuidado hasta el extremo y donde, seguro, encontraréis la paz, la relajación y el trato que esperáis al viajar a una zona como la Costa de Maine.||||El único problema del Maine Stay es la pena que da irse, pero bueno, para poder volver, primero hay que irse...yo volveré, seguro.||||Ramon

In one word, our weekend getaway was “outstanding”! From the gracious hospitality of the Innkeepers, Peter & Janis to the ambiance & warmth of the Inn. The Inn has been updated with much attention to detail & keeping with the historical background of the home. The Innkeepers have also added their art work as well as an extensive book collection. All of the room accommodations also updated & comfortable. Easy walking distance to town. |Wonderful home cooked Maine breakfast, which was a special treat. Exceptional & pampered stay. Highly recommend.

My wife and I just spent three perfect nights at the Camden Maine Stay. We can’t say enough about the genuine hospitality shown to us by Janis and Peter, they’re the BEST. We’ve been to the Inn many times over the years and each visit is better than the previous. Janis’s breakfasts, as always, were outstanding and generous, no need for lunch. The Inn is picture perfect in its setting, particularly so this time as the grounds were covered in snow. Our room, Common Ground, was meticulously clean and comfortable. Likewise the public rooms are very relaxing, tastefully decorated with artwork and classic furnishings. We can’t wait for our next visit, and there will be one. As long as the birthdays keep coming we’ll keep returning. Many thanks to Janis and Peter.

My wife and I have now stayed in the care of Peter and Janis four times, most recently as a weekend trip from Brooklyn, NY that coincided with one of the biggest snowstorms coastal Maine has experienced in a few years. And, there was no place we would rather have been during the snowstorm than at the Camden Maine Stay Inn with the world's best hosts. Peter and Janis's warmth, genuineness and attention to detail make each and every stay relaxing, and in short, perfect. From expertly crafted breakfasts and the most fantastic evening cookies (the lavender earl grey cookies are a wonderful addition!), to each room's meticulous design and charm, to meaningful conversation, Peter and Janis have created a truly incredible home for each of their guests. As with each time before, we're already thinking about when we can return.

We’ve stayed in Camden several times in previous years at different inns. Both were unavailable for the days that we wanted so the Maine Stay Inn was recommended to us. Our stay there was absolutely perfect. Janis and Peter were so warm and welcoming. The breakfasts were delicious and Janis sometimes makes her own sausage. The accommodations were lovely and very comfortable. We even stayed an extra day. We are looking forward to visiting again soon.

The innkeepers, Janis and Peter, are everything one should want and expect as B & B hosts. The Inn is inviting and immaculate, the rooms are comfortable and private, and breakfast is expertly prepared and served. It's obvious that the two of them love living in Maine and welcoming travelers into their home.| I first visited the Maine Stay Inn for three days in October as a solo traveler and just returned from a second visit with my wife and two close friends. I'm already booked to go back again this summer to enjoy more of the beautiful state of Maine and the company two of its most wonderful inhabitants, Janis and Peter.
