We just completed our 8th annual - 12 guy - golf stay and play trip to Byrncliff. From check-in to check out, our experience was once again, fantastic. The golf course is in excellent shape, Eric in the Pro Shop is terrific. He is friendly, courteous and very well organized. His staff are all very friendly as well. Rooms are quite nice, food is excellent, bar and wait staff very friendly. Just a great stay and play venue!!

We just had our sons and daughter in laws baby shower here. We couldn't have expected a better place! The executive room was beautiful We received many compliments on how good the food was we opted for the chicken noodle soup with cold cuts and pasta salad very good! Joe was an amazing host! I had talk with him several times up to the day of the shower, he assured me that everything is on point and it was! Thank you for accommodating our party and this nervous Grandma to be! The price was right too! Thank you very much!

Brought my daughter and granddaughter to Easter brunch with the Easter bunny. Ease of reservation was excellent, food as always was delicious, ready on time. Had a great time, recommend for special events, dinners and golf!

I had a fantastic experience! I recently booked the Sierra Room for my parents 50th Wedding Anniversary party. The prices were reasonable, and the service was outstanding. Joe in sales made the entire process smooth and hassle-free, and the rest of the staff was equally wonderful. On top of that, the food was absolutely delicious. I highly recommend this place for events!

We held our annual holiday dinner party at Byrncliff and once again had a wonderful experience. All of the details were handled with warmth and professionalism. Our buffet included chef carved beef and salmon with dill sauce, roasted potatoes, salad, sliced carrots, rigatoni, rolls and butter; everything was great!|The food was not only delicious, but it was also beautifully presented. The tables were dressed in linens to compliment the season, and the servers were attentive and pleasant. It was a lovely evening. |Looking forward to our next gathering at Byrncliff!

It's a bit out of the way for most of the population of WNY, but the cross country ski trails were fun. Some were groomed for classic skiing and have lights on Friday and Saturday nights. The people helping me in the ski shop were friendly. The cost of a trail pass was $22 for one day. If it were closer I would buy a season pass and hope for enough snow to make it pay off.

We extend our sincere gratitude to Byrncliff Golf Resort & Banquets in Varysburg, NY, for hosting our Masonic Valentine’s Spousal Appreciation Dinner on February 15, 2025. From start to finish, the evening was beautifully arranged, thanks to the expert coordination of Mr. Joe Dee from their sales department.
Our experience began with elegantly set circular tables adorned with fine linens and place settings, setting the perfect atmosphere for the evening. The celebration featured a delightful champagne toast, followed by a delicious buffet with an array of flavorful entrées. The grand finale was an indulgent dessert—a warm brownie sundae paired with vanilla bean ice cream and drizzled with rich chocolate syrup. Just thinking about it makes me hungry all over again—yes, the food was that good!
The evening was made even more special by our exceptional servers, Tonia and Julia, who ensured that every guest was well taken care of. They kept beverages filled, promptly cleared tables, and maintained a seamless flow throughout the event, allowing us to fully enjoy the occasion.

A special thanks to Joe in sales, whose professionalism and clear communication made planning effortless. He guided us through the booking process, provided a transparent cost breakdown, and even arranged to keep Byrncliff’s Valentine decorations in place for our event—an extra touch that did not go unnoticed.

We look forward to returning for future gatherings that fit Byrncliff’s banquet offerings. I highly recommend their facility and outstanding staff for anyone seeking a top-tier banquet experience.

I have played golf there a fair amount over a 4 year span. Staff is friendly and overall experience is good. Was shocked to see weekend rates at $70. After playing it this year, you’re paying for the scenery and elevation change. Greens are thatchy/ bumpy and inconsistent. Nice course, just not in the upper tier of courses, which their price indicates.

I’ve played this course many times. Challenging and fun course. However, I played today (Friday afternoon- sunny & hot) and asked the pro shop if there would be a cart person driving around for beer etc. (because they prohibit golfers from bringing their own). I was told there would be someone on a cart and that there was a stop at the 9th hole as well. Well, never saw anyone on a cart the entire 18 holes, and the turn at hole 9 was locked up. Very disappointing. In addition, the play was also slow and there was no marshal on the course.
