We very much enjoyed out stay at Brown's Wharf Inn. We were three senior citizen couples traveling together. We had chosen Brown’s Wharf Inn because of the excellent Tripadvisor reviews, and because of the view. We had chosen ”Inner Harbor” rooms. Our rooms were very close to the land area of the building. Our view was nice enough, but the other two couples had rooms closer to the land which was not the “spectacular” view we expected. We would probably choose “Ocean Front” rooms next time or ask for Inner Harbor rooms on the other end. The views were nice enough though, and we specially liked sitting out and listening to the music from the restaurant across the water. The room was exceptionally clean and comfortable. The building itself is charming and well kept. The breakfast was served in a large room which apparently used to be a restaurant. The continental breakfast was kept well stocked and had a nice variety of foods, including delicious muffins. As well as the food, we enjoyed looking at all of the nautical decor in the room. All of the staff were great; very friendly and helpful. We had booked 3 nights but due to a health emergency before we left, were only able to stay two. We felt the price for the motel was very reasonable considering the location. I very much recommend and hope to return.

The Inn is right on the water with a wonderful view of boats, etc. and the room balcony overlooks the water. The rooms were comfortable and very clean. The entire inn was immaculate and well kept. All the flower boxes (and there were many!) were lovely and full. The continental breakfast was extensive and featured made from scratch cranberry and blueberry muffins. The front desk clerks were friendly and helpful with restaurant suggestions. The room price was very reasonable for the quality of this inn. I would highly recommend staying here!

Great Location! Across the cove from the Lobster Wharf eatery, easy walk to the pedestrian bridge that gets you right into town. Even though the restaurant is closed they provide a good alternative for breakfast & coffee is really good too. Rooms are clean & a good size. Hospitality is Wonderful.

I hate to post a glowing review of this secret gem, but they absolutely deserve it. Beautifully maintained "motel" - I met the owner in the morning putting a fan in the elevator as they had cleaned the carpet the day before and wanted to disperse the cleaning smell. Breakfast was yummy with awesome blueberry muffins befitting their location. Wonderful balcony views of the harbor and sunset if you get the west-facing rooms. Loved our stay and will certainly return.

Stayed here on way back from Bar Harbor. Boothbay is much more relaxing and this Inn is a bargain! Beautiful view with a deck right outside the bedroom door. Generous breakfast included. Easy walk over a pedestrian bridge to restaurants and shops. And we left something behind and the staff called with a couple of hours to say they would mail it to us.

This is not luxury accommodations but it is immaculately clean, good towels and linens and beautiful harbor views. The included continental breakfast was good. The bathroom is very small. The television had plenty of channels.|Staff was very nice.

Jim and I would like to thank the staff at Browns Wharf Inn for another wonderful stay. We have stayed here many times and are never disappointed. The staff is warm and friendly and go overboard to accommodate our needs. The continental breakfast is great and the view unparalleled. We cannot thank you enough for my great birthday stay again.

Hotel is in a great location with wonderful water views. We had a corner room and really enjoyed sitting on the patio. The hotel room was So clean and comfortable. Nice free breakfast in the morning. Staff was friendly and professional. Defiantly would stay here again.
