Been here a week and should've listened to the reviews , kids under 18 cant play anywhere on the property without adult supervision. No riding bikes, no taking out garbage, no playing catch. Come home to the smell of weed everynight, the 1 bright thing is maintenance has been very helpful, that is till they towed my car for being < 2 feet over a barely visible white line. Top it off , they towed my car to massachusetts which is close but are there no Rhode Island towing companies ? Not staying off too well, Office People seem nice, then you move in and you're just income to them.

Do not give the manager 500. Holding fee they mandate you to give and will tell you it’s refundable.. IT WILL NOT BE REFUNDED TO YOU.. they will make up excuses as to why they are not refunding your HOLDING FEE.. with no signed documents but an application .. someone is running a scam in that office.. but I will keep posting here and keep calling the home office until I am refunded my HOLDING FEE OF $500.

I have lived at Bourne Mill since 2010.

A variety of residents live at Bourne Mill these days. Some apartments are fit for one or two people. Some are big enough for a family of four or more.

The management that arrived in 2022 have been improving the property tremendously. Security of the property has vastly improved, indoor and outdoor security cameras have recently been installed.

Other improvements inside the building are still underway as of June 2024. Improvements to accommodated my needs are also being planned for my own apartment.

Maintenance is typically prompt at responding to residents requests. Often they are able to fix any minor issues within a day or two. Hallways are cleaned and vacuumed weekly.

The property grounds are regularly mowed and trees, flowers, and bushes kept neat. Parking lot needs to be repaved and repainted.

I would not recommend to live here. They have no cameras or security for your vehicles. The staff are not professional. They just give you attitude and they lie. The unit I got was a mess and the carpet had holes. It was reported to me all of it would be good before the move and that was a lie. Half done with my lease and it’s still not fixed. If you have an opportunity to live somewhere else then I would recommend you do that. DON’T WASTE YOUR TIME AT THIS LOCATION

I have lived at Bourne Mill for close to seven years I have never had a problem with the staff they've always been respectful understanding and kind . If i have a problem of any kind I go to see Leaveine or Christina and they try their hardest to accommodate me with whatever I need or I'm concerned about. If I have any problems as far as maintenance I go see Dean and he or his staff takes care of the problem Within a very reasonable amount of time I don't understand the complaints that I see on this site. people always say the bad things about people but they never say all the good that the staff has done for many many people in this building that I have either seen for myself or heard of .Everybody has their own opinion .I am 65 years old I've been here seven years I've never felt uncomfortable or upset or treated unfairly I've always been treated with the utmost respect. I think certain people don't understand living in a big apartment building like this you're not always going to be taking care of as fast as you like and that would be in any apartment building that you live in so if you're not adjusted to the apartment life maybe you shouldn't move into one.

Lived here for about 3 years and it was a consistent nightmare. The units are gorgeous and updated but my quality of life living in this building was absolutely terrible. The walls are paper thin, A LOT of domestic issues occur during all times of the day/night and there is a disgusting amount of dog feces around the property. I broke my lease early after finding a used needle in the stairwell of my floor.

I have lived here for more than 4 years there is a constant revolving door on the office staff who are very unreliable and make up new polices and rules without enforcing the old ones..it's no smoking but people are still smoking! maintenance is the only plus...they are fast and effectiveness had an issue with any of the maintenance crew..you do get strong smells of cooking but hey your living in an apartment complex it's too be expected...

My Sister Recently Moved Here, She Showed Me Her Apartment & Gave me a Brief Tour* of The Facility. It Was Very Nice Looking. And Had Alot of Nice Modern Classy Amenities & An Old Traditional Theme* Of The Bourne Mill's Industrial History Before It was Transformed Into Market Rate Luxury Apartment's. It Also Is A Pretty "Diverse" Place to Live with Residents Of All Races & Ethnicities Blended Into The Fabric & StyLe, Including African kenté furnished Chair's & Art located Around The Shared Common Community Room Area's. Pretty CooL. 😎 It Seem's Quiet, for the Most Part When I Visited. But My Sister & Some Other Of Her Neighbors, Upstairs & Downstairs have Experienced Some Complaints About Noise disturbances lately. But She's Only been there less than a month. So Time Will Tell to Find Out & See If It Was Worth Paying Over $1,300 a month*Or Maybe More* for a One-bedroom Apartment there. Although The Mill Is Solid In Structure, Evidently, The Walls Have "Ears".🙄😳?
