Botanic Apartments - Pooler, Georgia

On March 21, 2023 was the first time I inquired about moving to Botanic Luxury Apartments. They were not open yet but it was supposed to be opening on March 31 which worked perfect for our timeline of moving across the country. We were going to be in town with all our belongings on April 14. This starts the series of the ever changing dates that are in this review. To be clear, the dates changing was an inconvenience however we understood due to construction things can be unpredictable, the issue lies with the transparency of the dates which I believe the lies were because they were worried we wouldn’t lock in the apartment or walk away. After picking out the floor plan that worked best for our needs and paying the upfront cost, on March 27, we were told the apartment would not be ready and that it had been delayed until April 14. This puts us believing we would be going straight to the apartment. March 31, we submitted all needed documents and confirmed no deposit was needed. On April 6, there would be another delay for construction but the date would be April 20 but they were still hopeful for sooner which now leaves us pulling the trailer for an additional 6 days and paying out of pocket additional days for the trailer. April 7, we were told all we were waiting for was just state and local inspections and April 20th was still a go. April 14, we were set to arrive and we reached out because a lease still has not been signed. But Botanic was still suppose to get word of approval or not. We reached out and we were told it had failed. April 17,I inquired about us using a detached garage so we could at least not have to pull the trailer around. We had wanted to rent an additional garage anyways and building 1 had passed and was opening. We were told they would have to get approval and would get back with us but we would have to sign a lease for it. We got approval for the garage and on April 18th, we went and paid for the garage and got the key for it to unload the garage still with the expectation that we are getting the apartment on April 20th. April 20th comes and we get a call that the apartment still is not ready. So I requested to speak with the property manager. She reaches out on April 21st and I asked if she had an apartment that was open for a temporary move in until ours is ready. They needed approval for that in which they did receive. However, we had to wait until they had the CO and the building had been cleaned. We get the move in date for the temporary apartment for April 28th. This is after being in a hotel for 2 weeks which cost money. At this point, our actual apartment only needs power. When we move in to the temporary apartment, building 3 was not close to being finished. We still see that there is counter top in the garage, flooring outside, all the appliances in the garage and stickers still on the windows that were open. You can see this from looking over the mesh green fence that was up. Just power right We signed a lease on May 23rd for our move in date of June 1. But they let us move in a few days early and on May 26th. I arrived later and was there at June 2, with my dogs. Upon our stay there, no one picked up after their dogs and while showing my mother the computer room, there was even dog waste in there. Owners did not leash their dogs and it was a constant problem. When we no longer needed the garage, they told me we typically don’t let you end the garage however after approval and the garage being in high demand, they took back the garage. When it came time for us to leave earlier than our lease end date, there was no working with us on the fees even after the experience we had there. We move out after paying everything. On a better note, the apartments are beautiful and the nicest in the area. The gym is really nice however, cable machine cannot be used due to improper setup. There is only one dumpster for the entire apartment complex. Spiders are a problem even with weekly spraying you have to check your clothes, shoes, bed, apartment daily.

Great place, great staff, great amenities.

Moved here from Florida for some work around 45 minutes away. In the 50 mile radius from Fort Stewart, there was no better option than Botanic. I came from a remote job to driving 45 minutes because I wanted the place that I lived to be comfortable and enjoyable, and most importantly safe since I'm moving here with my girlfriend and we're both 23. Coming from Tampa and having lived in very nice condos, apartments, etc-- this place is above it all.

Staff: Jada is amazing. I needed a place within a week and she attentively kept up with our application process and made it so easy to move-in. She's very real and enthusiastic about the place. Colsen is also very nice, in the midst of this winter storm, the printer in the study room wasn't working so I called them and he made the prints for me. Great staff, very kind and they have no reason to be any other way because it's a perfect living community.

Amenities: Coffee room + free coffee. Study room with fast wifi and multiple private rooms, a conference meeting room and a lounge area, leasing office space has a lot of lounge furniture. The gym is great, upstairs cardio and yoga room for privacy, downstairs smith machine and free weights. Even a stair-master. Private movie theater room but we haven't used it. Charging stations for my EV. Elevators for moving things. Smart Home for locks and changing the temperature. Near a mall and multiple shopping centers

There no negatives besides its location being in Pooler since Pooler is so empty and boring, I'd even say this place is too good for Pooler.

I truly enjoyed visiting The Botanic! Ashley and Colton were very helpful. I loved the amenities…especially the gorgeous pool! I wish I worked closer to Pooler bc I would definitely choose this location. Thank you all for showing us around!

The Botanic Luxury Apartments provide an exceptional living experience that seamlessly combines the best of both worlds – a vibrant sense of fun and serene tranquility. The B2U with an attached garage was an excellent choice, and Sarah’s and the leasing staffs assistance, especially for our frequent travels, made it even more enjoyable.

What sets this community apart is the perfect blend of excitement and peace. The planned events organized here are not just enjoyable; they create a real sense of community. The leasing office's exemplary work ethic makes this place stand out from the rest. And, of course, we appreciate the meticulous maintenance of the amenities and the peaceful community grounds.

Touring Botanic Apartments was an absolute pleasure, thanks to Colton. He was professional, helpful, and brought a cheerful energy that made this tour stand out from the others I had today. It’s clear he truly cares about creating a great first impression. Definitely worth a visit if you’re looking for a place in Savannah!

I lived here for a year and LOVED IT, but as the new management started rolling in I fell completely out of love with this complex. It became impossible to get anyone on the phone - you had to message them through a platform, hope someone saw it, and then wait for a reply for something that could've been discussed for 60 seconds on a phone call. I left my apartment one month before my lease ended (I paid out the lease for the remainder, and it is in writing & signed by the leasing office). Somehow, I was still charged a water bill for an apartment that was vacant for a month before move out. I have called twice, and was told that they would get back to me, for two weeks now! I keep getting vague texts saying I owe the water bill with zero explanation, and I keep asking them to call me and figure it out because there is paperwork assuring that the apartment would be vacant by this date. However, I keep getting texts saying I owe them money, which I am happy to pay for when the apartment was not vacant. Overall, I LOVED BOTANIC! So, so much. As soon as the new management started, I was more than ready to leave - I hope it turns itself around because it'd be a shame to see such a great complex lose people due to lack of communication.

Omggg! Living here has been like love at first sight. Major shoutout to the entire staff. They truly go above and beyond. It’s true what Ashley says, “we are a family here.” Living here has been amazing . I started off by coming in to view the property and the apartments. Kristal answered all of my questions and concerns during the initial tour. The tour lasted roughly 45 minutes. I didn’t feel rushed and she encouraged me to take pictures and videos . She took us to different buildings and showed us multiple floor plans. I love the details she pointed out about the property during the tour. She was very knowledgeable and I left feeling well informed with the information she provided. Once I moved in , Ashley was amazing! She made sure everything worked and functioned properly at my apartment. She gave me recommendations on places to go and local restaurants in the area that I should try . The community is very quiet and I love living here. The best part is the level of customer service here at the property. Luxury at is finest, look no further, come on over and see for yourself!

With the new towing policy I feel more safe and secure being in this apartment complex. It’s a great idea they’re implementing to keep unwanted guests off the property! HOORAY!!!! I’m all for it!!!
Also with the negative reviews you guys gotta keep in mind that with EVERY WHERE YOU GO there will always be pros and cons but since being a resident here since they first open i gotta say, they’re DOING THEIR BEST PEOPLE so please be patience with them. They do hear all your concerns and trying to fix it.
