Incredible selection at this store! All brands are top tier, you will not be disappointed. I bought a Patagonia sweater, hat, and a Patagonia flannel. The staff there was amazing and friendly. Truly an awesome place to shop.

I have to say I own a company also and I know that you have to take the bad reviews you see with a grain of salt and that more people are quick to write a bad review before they write a good review. That being said, the comments I see about staff being rude and what not couldn’t be further from the truth. I have been using the fishing guide service with this store for a while now and they are EXCEPTIONAL! What a lot of people don’t realize is that the fishing guides also work in the store some and EVERY guide I have used has been top notch and extremely friendly toward me and my son! That being said, I know that service does not change within the store and also provides very valuable knowledge. One of the guides who I have hired multiple times, William has been over the top with kindness and support. The dude has helped me tremendously with fishing and is very patient with my 10 year old son who absolutely loves to fly fish and is learning as well. I refer anyone and everyone to use their services. Not to mention they are very military friendly, which says a lot about a business especially in today’s environment. I highly recommend anyone looking to use this store or the fishing guide service to not hesitate. You won’t regret it! Below are some photos of my son and the guide William.

Lots and lots of nice gear here. Staff was knowledgeable and very friendly. Many name brands and choices within to choose from. Prices were a little up there but in line for the area main drag location for which it sits. Great ambiance. If your walking the town, it’s a nice store to stop and shop.

Bryan is the man! My husband and I stopped in from out of town and Bryan welcomed us into their store. Bryan is knowledgeable and passionate about their sunglasses brands. It was great chatting with him about their different sunglasses and seeing what they have to offer!

We have shopped this store many times and taken guided trips with the attached fly shop before. My 10 year old daughter and I went in. I missed the no food sign and that’s on me. However my daughter was around the other side and the guy asked her to leave without even thinking he told a young girl to leave without concern of who she was with. I started looking for her and when I couldn’t find her he asked if I was looking for a little girl with ice cream. I said yes he then told me he told her to leave the store. Why not asked her to get her parents before telling her to leave by herself?!
I am all for private business having any rule they want in a private shop. Had he found me or not kicked out a child without an adult we would not had a problem we would have let her finish her ice cream and came back in to shop.
However the fact, he had no concern at all telling a young 10-year-old girl to leave the store without a parent is beyond me. He was very rude and could not understand how that might be an issue.
Completely unacceptable.
We went to buy new hiking boots, wading boots, and a new fly rod for our trip. We will never visit again nor spend a penny with them.
Make all the rules you want, but have some common sense… Do better

I had a great experience here. Not only was the store organized and filled with quality brands, the customer service was fantastic. Check out was delightful with the gentleman who helped me and when I realized (over an hour later) that I left my purse they, he already had it safely stored for my return.
My trip to Blue Ridge could’ve gone south very quickly, but he saved it for me. Thank you!
