Probably my favorite local nondescript restaurant in the Birmingham area. With the severe lack of variety in Asian food, this is a gem. Can’t really go wrong with whatever you order, everything tastes great. Parking can be tough during peak hours but it’s manageable. Calling in can be tough too, but if you can’t get in, just go there, order and wait.

No-nonsense hole in the wall Thai place in a repurposed gas station convenience store. Placed an order for pickup for lunch on a Saturday, and it was ready when we arrived (about 15 minutes frok call to pick up). Staff was friendly. Appears to be some seating indoors, but it wasn't open when we were there. Also some picnic tables outside.

Ordered chicken pad thai, veggie pad pak, and 2 spring rolls. Rolls were excellent, and the pad pak and pad thai were very good. Certainly can't beat the prices!

I’ve always been a fan of the delicious Vietnamese cuisine at Blue Pacific, with their fried rice standing out as a true highlight. The flavors are spot on, showing their commitment to quality, which has impressively maintained even after the challenges brought by the pandemic. However, the lack of indoor seating is a downside, especially during unfavorable weather conditions. It would be greatly beneficial if the restaurant could reintroduce some form of indoor or sheltered dining to enhance the overall experience. Despite this, Blue Pacific continues to be my top spot for exquisite Vietnamese fried rice.

Great food and friendly service. Definitely a hole-in-the-wall location but that’s what makes it great, right?

- We had to sit outside because the inside tables were stacked up (possibly because they were cleaning floors or just didn’t want anyone sitting inside.
- You have to buy bottled water, no tap water available for free.
- Would definitely come back again!

I came here because I’m a fan of Thai Food and because of the amount of good reviews (that’s always something important for me to make the decision of whether or not to eat at the place), but definitely not worth it. I tried 3 different plates (Basil Fried Rice, Rad Na Noodles & Pad Si Ew Noodles) and all of them were a 5/10 in flavor. I have tried a lot of Thai Food places with better flavor and even prices. Also, I ordered all of the plates with “combination” of meats what were supposed to include beef, pork, shrimp and chicken and I only found in my rice 2 pieces of beef, 2 pieces of shrimp and everything else was CHICKEN. I went in and let the owner know and he started to stir my food with a fork looking for the beef as if I was lying, then when he saw that it was true he just took my rice and threw it away with attitude and without even asking to make me a new one, when I just wanted more of the missing meat because my intention wasn’t a new whole order (I hate wasting food). And if the intention was making a new order and threw away the current one, you should at least leaving it to the customer, that speaks better of you as a business than just throwing it away and wasting it, at least if the mistake was yours as a business.

Other than that, the other staff were kind and nice.
