I went to the Blue Dory Inn hoping to have a peaceful night away and I experienced that and more! I was greeted by Holly , the manager who personally brought me to my room and then offered me an upgrade. What a nice surprise! My room was cozy, perfectly clean and had a beautiful view of the ocean. You could hear the surf! Although I was looking for a quiet night I found myself enjoying the wine and cheese hour with some of the other guests. I had a great nights sleep and enjoyed a fresh made breakfast in the cozy cellar kitchen which was really cool especially if you are into old , historical Inns. I felt incredibly comfortable there and I can’t wait to go back. But then I will always go in the off season because I enjoy the quiet. I’ll bet this place rocks in the summer because it’s right on the beach and is close to many of the restaurants on Block Island.

I spent 3 restful/relaxing nights at the Blue Dory Inn and I’m already dreaming of when I can get back to my most favorite “happy” place. Holly was a wonderful host and made sure I had a fantastic stay. Happy hour afternoons and morning breakfast were lovely and delicious! Having the beach to walk daily, literally outside the back of the Inn, was so convenient. The inn is located a short walk from the ferry, so no need for a taxi! Thank You Blue Dory for a perfect stay!

We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived to the Blue Dory and our room was upgraded free of charge! The Blue Dory Inn was a quaint and characteristic little place full of surprises including a complimentary wine hour. Holly was very kind and offered endless knowledge on the island and went out of her way to accommodate guests. In my opinion, this inn was the cutest on the whole island. Thank you, we will be back!

This is the perfect getaway stay. Our room was perfect, loved the wine happy hour to get to know other guests and Holly is manager extraordinaire. Breakfast was delicious nad the entire staff is welcoming. Be warned that this is off season on the Block which means restaurant pickings are thin on the ground, but if you plan ahead, you should be fine.

Had an amazing time at the Blue Dory. The host was fantastic and made me feel right at home. It honestly felt like staying with friends. The breakfast each morning was better than expected. The bed was super comfortable and the room was set up great. I’ll definitely be back with the whole family!

Truly a memeral stay. Holly was the best and the breakfasts were delicious.we couldn't have asked for better weather for this time of year. Island was quiet just the way we like it. We would definitely recommend the Blue Dory thanks again Holly and staff

The Blue Dory and associated properties are awesome. Talk about location, location, location!! Incredible views. The staff there is just super. We tend to go in the fall when the tourist season is over and it's so nice and quiet. There's not a lot open in terms of stores and restaurants but it's just the way we like it 🙂
