Bangkok on Franklin is a fantastic spot for authentic Thai food! We had a great experience enjoying their fresh and crispy spring rolls, flavorful drunken noodles, classic pad Thai, refreshing green salad, and deliciously tender Siam dumplings. The flavors were well-balanced, and everything was beautifully prepared. Plus, the staff was incredibly nice and welcoming, making the dining experience even better. Best of all, the prices are very reasonable for the quality of food and service. Definitely a must-visit for Thai food lovers!

The food portions are more than generous! More importantly the flavors are quality. The service was attentive and comfortable seating. The location isn't the easiest to get to but worth the drive into downtown.

Highly recommend getting the Spicy Salty Shrimp!! To die for.

I have been wanting to try this place ever since it opened and can say it was a delight. It has a pleasant decore and the staff was friendly and efficient. I ordered the Eggplant dish, and my partner ordered the Sweet & Sour noodles, both with tofu. Both were great, and there was enough to have a treat to take home. We will be back very soon!

The food is excellent!!!!!! Hands down one of the best in the tri-state. I tried the peanut lo mein extra spicy. It's my new favorite dish. I will return, but in the meantime, I highly recommend it. I also ordered the mango dessert. Boom! Lights out!

I will keep adding pictures with dishes that I try. 😋

Spicy Lemongrass with tofu was super tasty while the appetizers (fried tofu and chive cakes) were just alright. Golden tofu could've been seasoned better (it was just fried) and chive cakes were very oily (enjoyed the crisp but traditionally, these aren't prepared this way). I would definitely order the entree again in the future but skip the apps.

What should be noted though, is the service - the woman who picked up the phone was patient and understanding of my need for a vegan friendly meal so I really appreciated that!

Bangkok on Franklin is the best Thai Food I have had in a really long time. I was quite surprise by the quality and quantity of the food. The atmosphere is tastefully decorated and warming colors and soft music. The food is so flavorful and the portions are perfect! The Thai tea and Mango Mousse cake is amazing. So light and refreshing. Bangkok on Franklin is bringing quality and diversity to the area for sure!!!

Stopped in for a late lunch and to check out a new place.
We had the crab Rangoon, the Tom Yum soup, and the rice soup special. Everything was freshly made and very flavorful. The crab Rangoon was probably the best we’ve ever had.
I could not finish the very generous portion of rice soup.
We loved the water bottles for the table.
Great service, great atmosphere.
What a gem. We’ll definitely be back.

My roommate and I visited this restaurant a couple nights ago, for the first time, and were both BEYOND impressed. The service was exceptional (some of the best I’ve ever had), and the food was AMAZING!

For appetizers, we got the curry puff, and crispy bacon. The curry puff was good, but the crispy bacon was to die for! We weren’t sure what to expect, because we’d never heard of (much less tried) bacon with a tempura batter. It was soooooo good, and definitely an app we’d order again. I’d love to know how they get the batter to stick to the bacon. I had the drunken noodle entree, which was the best I’ve ever had. It was on the verge of being too spicy, but wasn’t, which I liked. My roommate had the crispy basil duck (off of the “Chef’s Special” menu), which he loved.

No complaints from either of us, and this is the only Thai restaurant in Hagerstown that we’ll be visiting in the future (regularly, for sure). We’ve tried a few other local Thai restaurants, but none compare in terms of price, value, quantity, or service. Would recommend to literally anyone who’s into, or wanting to try, Thai food.

I also feel the need to mention, again, that the service was amazing. The server we had couldn’t have been more perfectly attentive while also not “hovering”.
