I looked at the reviews on here, and I was so nervous before calling. I did my little prayers, and thankfully, God sent Ms. Joanne Douglas to be my customer service rep. She was so professional and was able to answer all my questions in detail. She even offered to provide information that I did not ask for, which was by the way very helpful. It's good that there are still people out there that have a great passion for what they do. Thanks again Joanne.

ABSOLUTE GARBAGE! I have been trying to get help for MONTHS regarding a water bill discrepancy and NO ONE can ever be bothered to answer the phone or provide an ounce of help.

Every time I call, I am on hold FOREVER, I have to repeat information OVER AND OVER AGAIN for incompetent employees who cannot retain information and/or may be hard of hearing, and no one ever gets back to me when they say they will.

These people are LAZY.

Poorest excuse for an organization. What a waste.

A neighbor "SWATTED" me. Had my water turned off. It has now been days. DPW keeps say that's illegal. I guess that means the great noble DPW would never do such a thing as take the word of a neighbor.

In the mean time they are hostile whenever I call and try to get them to come out to 2706 Grindon.

Do not bother calling or trying to get any customer service!

Had a water bill discrepancy that I needed to speak to financing. After calling in several times, I was hung up on, transferred, and put back into the phone tree, no less than 5 times. Whenever I would get a real person, they put me on hold - then it would restart me back at "Thank you for calling" at the beginning ALL over again. Every. Time.

Eventually I got someone to walk me through the issue, when I began a sentence with "Okay..." she took that opportunity to say "Thank you for calling" and hung up. My issue was not resolved - I literally screamed at the dial tone.

I know this is screaming into a void... but I beg someone to do something about this. How hard is it to better your customer service?

Department Of Public Works is so inept, it is beyond words. Phone service is the pits, no help. Steam leak at S Charles and Lombard, steam coming through light pole and dangerously hot. Also a water leak and Lake off of Belair has been leaking over 6 months and nothing done. They need to hire someone who knows what they are doing.

Our organization has been trying to change the mailing address for several of our buildings for over 5 months with no resolution. I used the online contact form, emailed directly, and still received no response. I have yet to get an answer. When you call and opt to leave your number and be called back by an agent, it never happens. It is very frustrating that the water bills were held during COVID and then we were hit with a balloon bill. The city is going to raise our water rates yet again, and still we can't even get basic service (customer service) from the DPW. This department of the city is a disgrace to public accomodations.

Any Baltimore state service is a joke! You can’t keep up charging people and then not even be able too drink the water , so many infections for you too get from this water expected too pay for something you can’t use and they’ll never answer the phone so don’t bother, terrible all around
