One of the best nature preserves I’ve been to!! I definitely recommend if you’re looking to get a fresh breath of air. The animals are an extra bonus too, they have, a goat, chickens, reptiles such as snakes, ducks, and a very adorable tortoise. The history was very interesting too, so if you’re a big history fan, you’ll learn fascinating details. The hiking trail was also wonderful (P.S they have walking canes which is so considerate!! just make sure to return it.), and when you go deeper into the trail, there’s a little creek too. Likewise, a 10/10 experience. Will be coming back <3

A gorgeous tucked away space that is breathtaking with an easy to moderate trail. The moderate side of being the short inclines; compensating for dry to wet leaves with some soft ground spots.

Some of those spots are holes covered with leaves. Take a walking stick. I had my forearm crutches. It'll help.

What a cute little farm. There were some animals, like goats, chickens, ducks, koi, and lots of squirrels 😆 I saw trails in the woods but we didn’t go, just walked around the grounds. Two separate bathrooms, too. My toddler enjoyed herself.

Really beautiful and quaint place to get out into nature on some wonderful hiking trails. This was a great Sunday afternoon experience. We decided to go for a walk and we were greeted with a large amount of free parking. There were loads of things to see including animals like bunnies, chickens, goats and white geese. There was a visitor center which details the 46 acre facility. There are loads of walking trail paths through the forest. I can be easy to get lost but all the trails connect eventually so it's not too confusing. Take some dirty shoes on wet days as some paths a flooded out. We really enjoyed crossing the river on the rocks. The bathrooms here were also really beautiful. Lots of modern tile work and clean stalls. Working sinks, dryers, and water fountains. Overall kids would love this place. Its a lot of exploration including the butterfly gardens and nature.
