I’ve stayed at Auberge on the Cove in the past and had a fairly good experience, which is why I reached out with a couple of inquiries over the past year, considering staying there again. Unfortunately, both times I received no response at all. It’s incredibly disappointing, especially since I had a positive impression previously. When you’re relying on good customer service to guide your decisions, it’s hard to trust a place that doesn’t even acknowledge your questions.

Lovely comfortable rooms, beautiful views of Perkins Cove and easy walk to Marginal Way. The front desk staff were great especially Rosanna! Very comfortable beds! This was our first visit but won't be our last! We had a room at the very end which was very quiet.

We had stayed here long ago before it was sold and new owners changed the name to Auberge so thought we'd try it again basically because it has the best view of the Perkins Cove and boat activity. Not worth the money now. We'll go back to staying at the Anchorage Inn again, down the road. If we are going to spend $300 to sleep one night we don't expect to have chipped paint on the AC unit and balcony floor outside. |We don't expect to see the AC unit coming away from the wall inside, or the underside of the roof above the balcony needing painted. We don't expect to be able to see out the front door when it is closed and which needs painted. We really did not expect to see the old phones with a cord that were there probably when it was first built. The phone was the kind that were in the rooms before it became Auberge ! Plus there was no microwave or frig. We did expect some kind of continental breakfast in the morning, nope. Very disappointed. M

My mother and I stayed at The auberge during a recent trip to Ogunquit. You can’t beat the location, right across the footbridge from Perkins Cove. Our room had a beautiful view of the cove and we found ourselves spending a lot of time sitting in the chairs on the deck and enjoying the view. The rooms are clean, bright and well-appointed. We had a parking spot for our car right outside the door to our room, so that was very convenient. The front desk staff — especially James - are friendly and helpful. We can’t wait to return next year!

Oh my, if you have came upon this one, you have found a winner. Get an upper room as the kid above could be heard from morning till night, tap tap tap tap. Park your car and walk to town, it was not that far. Perkins Cove was lovely. In Olgonquit the places had 200 rooms on an acre, here 60 on 3. Absolutely recommended.

Nice property, nice people, Just be careful of the Canada goose poop all over the grass!!!Unfortunately had a health emergency with my wife, requiring early departure. I immediately notified front desk of situation. I was told a refund of one night would be applied if room could be rented out. I checked hotel website that night and the room appeared to be taken. I called and left 2 messages and sent a verified email. No one has returned my correspondence. No refund! It appears they are friendly until they get your money. I have stayed here over several years but now they have lost a loyal customer. I don’t understand why they turned cold. Bye-bye, this is a bad business practice.

We stayed here after having driven by many times and commenting that we should book a room at this spot. The location is PRIME, the view of the cove is perfection and we loved being close enough to walk to restaurants and the Marginal Way (can’t recommend MC Perkins in the Cove more highly, the food was phenomenal).

The room was beautiful. The balcony was a fantastic spot to sit and have a drink. The whole place was very clean and the shower was delightful, as well.

We drove our 1960 f100 here and for the first time ever, it refused to start the day after we arrived. The manager, James, took pity on us after we asked about taxi services (there are none in the off season), and called someone in to cover the end of his shift so he could personally ferry us to the auto parts store in York. If that’s not 12/10 customer service, I don’t know what is. Thanks to James’ taxi service, we were able to get the truck started the next day.

I will end this review with complete honesty and say that if you like firm beds, you will love the beds here. If you’re like me and like something a little softer, you might be a bit disappointed. STILL, overall, giving this place 5/5 stars!
