Stopped here for the arcade. It is huge! I was disappointed that the hours of operation are so late. The arcade was fun. We went to the hard rock Cafe for food. They did not have a blue cheese burger, the Diablo burger wasn't spicy (as advertised) but the service was good. Their souvenir store was WAY too expensive. (We bought nothing) it was clean and I would go here again. Hotel prices were high too.

This was my second year at the Atlantic Beach Casino Resort. The location of this resort is unmatched, as it is right on the ocean and within reasonable driving distance of many attractions, for various interests. Our unit had a spacious balcony that we shared with our (one) neighbor, as well as a private balcony attached to the upstairs bedroom. There were bathrooms on both floors, both doors without locks, which was strange. There is no regular turndown service, what you get for towels and toiletries (as well as bed linens) is what you have for the duration of your visit, so pack accordingly and plan to visit a laundromat for the towels. I understand there used to be a jacuzzi in the pool room, but it's been covered up and I would assume they've done away with it. Nice indoor pool, the kids complained it was cold, but I thought it was refreshing, considering the 90* weather.
There is a designated outdoor smoking area, grills and picnic tables. The parking is very tight and awkward to maneuver the lot, especially with large vehicles and most importantly without 4 wheel drive.
As others have expressed, there is no casino on the premises. You would need to drive 45 minutes or so to Mohegan Sun or Foxwoods.

You cannot beat the location of this resort! Ocean view? Perfection! Hospitality? Barbara was great! She checked in every few days to see how our stay was and if we needed anything. We had a two bedroom unit which was very clean and comfortable. Was it 5 star hotel comfortable? No...but, so what? There was some minor damage in the unit, but, nothing that prevented us from having a great time. We totally lucked out with perfect weather all week, I got a sunburn sitting out on the private balcony (with seating for 5) off the gigantic master bedroom. This in addition to the HUGE deck outside our front door (shared with unit next to us). Jealous yet? Kitchen had everything I needed. Linens and towels provided were great (nice fluffy towels). The only downfall was the pool and hot tub were out of order due to a heater issue. Barbara apologized and told us she was trying to have it fixed, but, the part had to come in. Fortunately, we own up the road at the Ocean Club, so, we just went there. Otherwise...great week! Thank you!

Our 2 bedroom unit was located directly ON the water. At high tide, the water literally went under our building!! It was soooo nice! The views from our porch were all water and sunsets. Can't say enough about the views. Room was very cozy with gas fireplace. Would definately go again!

I always look to trip advisor when I travel. Now I can see why I won't entirely count on it. I have been an owner since 2001 at the ABC Resort. I always have a wonderful stay. The owner is marvelous! Of course, I go for the beach, period! Not for a playground or pool you can get that anywhere. If you want to enjoy a private beach on a beach that is blanket to blanket anywhere else you have picked the right spot. There is an arcade with carnival rides right next door for the kids. There are water slides and other rides for the kids right across the street. There is a saltwater pond right across the street. I guess you just have to be open minded and find the fun in showing your kids how to enjoy nature and all its beautiful surroundings.

This resort would be great if all the obnoxious time share people had any respect for anyone else at the resort. Oh and if you think "well why didn't you complain?" it's because the lovely "Barbara" doesn't care about you because you are just a "renter". I was so excited to be right on the beach until at 1:00 in the morning there were 30 people under my window yelling and screaming and GRILLING! If you want a relaxing vacation where the other people around you are respectful adults, this place is NOT for you! Worst vacation ever because of the people around us.

This will be a good place if the owner's brother will not wake you at 6:30 AM with his ranting! And he goes on all day until 12 midnight when I believe he goes to bed and starts all over again the next day! Yelling across the yard, being very loud and obnoxious! A Resort should be quiet and relaxing and when on vacation, sleeping in should be a given!

We stayed at ABC Resort the second week in August. The weather was perfect and the beach was perfect . The resort was a place where you are not lost in a crowd. An indoor saltwater pool was a suprise. Everything was in wa;ling distance. A perfect family resort. I would buy a week if they weren't all sold out. I also followed the resort 's story and pictures after the hurricane. We can't wait until next year.
