Fun place to hangout and have a sweet treat. They have a lot of flavors and combinations along with a rotating menu. You order outside at the window and you can either sit outside at the picnic tables in the shade or go inside.

We sat inside, there are lots of booths and tables. It’s clean, bright and the bathrooms are well kept. They even have a little station with cups where you can get water. Family and dog friendly. This will be one of our regular summer hang out spots.

Let's start with the good- this place is lively and has plenty of parking and also seating options to enjoy the ice cream. The bad - some of the ice cream flavors can be out of sync and therefore not desirable. Choose your flavors wisely. This place is decent and I will recommend it if you are visiting Rapid City,.SD.

This is a great location. I love their ice cream. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this ice cream shop. I love this place. You must visit armadillo’s ice cream shop. This is the best place for ice cream. They have so many ice flavors to enjoy. Delicious flavors. The best ice cream in Rapid City South Dakota.

This place needs a visit by a public health inspector. The kids who work here don’t wash hands after handling dirty items. They don’t use gloves. I caught one rubbing his eyes and went on to serve. I could not eat the ice cream I ordered. Very disgusting. The table was so dirty, we had to clean it ourselves! Not coming back.

We were looking for an ice cream place after lunch. Even though the menu was very big, there were only a few ice cream flavors: chocolate, vanilla and daily sherbet flavors. If you are looking for different ice cream flavors, go somewhere else. If you are looking for sundaes, this is the place for you since they have around 20 topping choices.

Delicious ice cream! Its in a small quiet area downtown. I had a marshmallow sundae for $4.25! Plenty of seating outside and the service was quick.
