Absolutely delicious food. I’m don’t know a lot about Ethiopian food but I know the food here is great! The portions are big we left with food. The staff are super friendly. It’s on the smaller side but if there isn’t space to sit you should absolutely get take out. It’s so good.

This is my absolute favorite Ethiopian restaurant in the DMV. I typically eat here 2-3 times a month. I’m basically addicted to their food.

I usually order the lamb tibs, vegetarian platter and chicken/ beef sambusas. I’ve tried their doro wot and tilapia tibs and they were also delicious. You honestly cannot go wrong with anything on the menu. The dishes are so flavorful, fresh and healthy. Also, the family that runs the business it so sweet and they have the best customer service. I always look forward to going to Ahadu.

The restaurant is small, but it is welcoming and feels cozy. They didn't have the Doro wot, which I always order at the ethiopion restaurant, but other than that, everything else was great. The vegetarian dishes tasted little different than other Ethiopion places, but it was still good. The fish and lamb tibs were tasty. Overall, the service was good and it is a nice place to try out ethipion food.

Tried Doro wot for my second time, and it was good. It wasn't the traditional drumsticks chicken that is served in other restaurants. I still loved the taste. I added more pics.

We decided to give this place another try recently. We ordered several dishes for take out. We did not order online or in advance so there was an expected wait. The service was great. The food was pretty good. I wish they had more variety with some options. I would give them a try if you have never had Thai cuisine before. The place itself was clean and there was plenty of parking available. The beets were delicious though.

This was my first time here. I came to celebrate a friends birthday. It’s super cute and quaint. The atmosphere is clean and lovely. Very inviting. Staff is very friendly. The food looks like a little but trust me if you’re starving like I was it’s more than enough. The mango juice was fresh and the injera was amazing!!! I do prefer my beets to be cubed and cold rather than cooked but that’s justes personal preference. Other than that, I will certainly be returning to try the ceremonial coffee. We were able to see this demonstrated for the table next to us!!! Thank you for wonderful service.

Delicious Ethiopian food with great customer service. I had the beef girgiro which comes on a hot plate(more like a bowl) with a live flame. The marinated meat was so good! My husband had the lamb Alicha, which was also full of flavor. Will definitely return, soon!

This was a GREAT place. Casual, small interior with a great menu selection. The staff was very kind, made delicious recommendations and provided excellent and friendly service. The food was delicious! More than enough injera. It was warm, fluffy and soft! They were very generous with the veggie platter portions. The flavor and spices were really delicious. The menu pricing was just right. My new favorite place 🙂 I got the veggie combo #2 for one person. It was roughly $15 and very filling. I could not finish it!
