I've been to this courthouse a few times over the past 20 years, and each visit went better than expected. I encountered polite and professional employees each time I needed something or asked a question. When I needed representation, I had a wonderful attorney and a witty or compassionate judge. In the world we live in, I'm not surprised there are so many upset people giving negative reviews here. After my experiences at this courthouse, I know many employees are simply doing their job regardless of all the one star reviews.

I had several pieces of business to accomplish today at the Courthouse. It meant speaking with several people. Every single person was helpful and knowledgeable. Great experience! And they made sure I knew the next steps, as needed, for each item. I know coming here can be very stressful. Take a big breath when you enter the front atrium and know people here want to do a good job.

Always a pleasure seeing some of my favorite people to encounter during the work day. Specifically the clerks over at the recording desk.

The deputy clerk named Amanda Parker was so rude to me yesterday. I am already going through a hard time, dealing with custody and divorce. When I showed up at her window she looked like the most unhappy, overweight woman I have ever seen. After aggressively taking my papers and stapling them all together, I paid her the $150 fee she then my papers down in front of me didn't tell me what to do or anything like that so I asked one question and she talked to me like I was a four-year-old. The lady that was sitting next to her responded to my question Amanda, then side side of relief as I was leaving like I was such an inconvenience to her. All I did was ask her, which was which. This lady does not want to be at work and she should get fired.

Judge Dingeldein was very UNPROFESSIONAL in our zoom hearing today. He ended our hearing without letting us know it was over and didn’t let us continue to express what we needed to say.

I was summoned for jury duty here (I live in Utah county) and had to serve anyway. I guess it’s my civic duty or whatever but that didn’t make the six hour drive any less painful. They gave me a sticker and a check for $10 which is something I guess but not enough to buy a chicken sandwich as chic-fil-a with the fries.

I was never at this courthouse but I wasn't sure where else I should post this. I would think that the trial of Chad Daybell will be attracting a great deal of attention. Not only from the media but the public in general. Quite a few people will be coming and it should give a boost to the economy. As the court that is hosting the trial, I would have thought that the best possible video coverage would be sought to film the trial. However, the court chose to use the very grain and low quality system that is in house. It would be nice if they would reconsider so the public could actually hear and understand what is going on.

This court has ALWAYS protected me since I was a child, they saved me from a hopeless tumultuous situation. Even later in life, they were swift recognizing, and upholding justice.

I want to say that all judges here are fair, thorough, and clear. That court protocols are upheld, along with 'victim rights'. This sadly isn't the current reality for ones who truly need protection in litigation abuse cases.

Although disheartened, I will heal. I won't let continued abuse control my life. I will always rise above it, for the sake of myself, family, friends, and community who fought to protect myself and many others. -Even when justice turns a blind eye to the true victims of a crime.

I apologize if that makes me seem "dangerous" as a victim to some. I'm disheartened a judge would use that term with any perceived victim in the court of law.

I know what I am, and what I'm not.

I will forever be resilient. A survivor. A warrior. This is who I am, and who you helped me become. Regardless of the unfound evidence to support the biased remarks.

5 stars for the Chad Daybell case

1 star for improper court protocols, proceedings, bias behaviors, victim shaming, and ignoring "victim rights".

This is why DV/SA/Stalking victims/survivors do not speak up in a timely manner, or reach out for help. A truly disheartening experience I never thought would happen in a city I felt safe in and love.

Again not all Judges/Marshalls are like this.

All I ask of the court, is to do better in recognizing the true victims. So others that deserve safety and protection can start healing and thriving once more.

Thanks for reading.
