We were extremely disappointed with our stay at the Abalonia Inn. The room lacked a thermostat, leaving us unable to control the temperature and making our stay uncomfortable. Housekeeping never came during our visit, so we ran out of fresh towels and essential toiletries like soap and shampoo with no way to replace them.||The internal blind on the door didn’t close properly, leaving a gap that compromised our privacy, as anyone outside could see into our room. There was also no information provided about basic amenities, such as breakfast hours or when the office was open. When I called to request towels before an early flight, I was told the office was closed, and no assistance was offered. Although someone eventually brought towels, they didn’t say a word, leaving us feeling dismissed and frustrated despite explaining our urgent need to shower before leaving for the airport.||This experience was particularly disappointing because we had a wonderful stay just days earlier at another property owned by the same group. Unfortunately, this visit fell far short of expectations, and we left regretting our decision to stay here. Based on this experience, we cannot recommend the Abalonia Inn.

This hotel was great. We thought being shown to our room when we first got there was a nice touch. Not very many places do this. The owners were great to talk to. The room was well maintained daily. The location was great - 5 minute walk to the beach and close by to a lot the restaurants and shopping. This was a great vacation due to having such a nice relaxing place to stay. We will definitely stay there again in the future.

The inn was more than satisfactory but had some quirks like squeaky loose floorboards and room layout. |The location was exactly where we wanted to be, within walking distance of the beach, Marginal Way and all the great restaurants. The owners/ managers were friendly and helpful with restaurant suggestions, there were yummy muffins and coffee in the AM and places to sit outdoors and enjoy them. | The only annoying aspect was that the mini fridge and Keurig were in the bathroom I would have found this less distasteful if there had been a door in the toilet area which would seem to be an easy fix. |Each of the rooms are different so you should check with the inn beforehand if wanting to book.

Charming and oh so peaceful in one of the busiest coastal towns on the Maine coast! Location couldn't be better! Closest to shops, tons of restaurants and 5 minute walk to beach! This is a renovated historic 1800 Sea Captain's home. Plenty of room for 2 people, if you are looking for Hilton style/sized rooms go elsewhere. BUT if you are seeking a charming, family run, peace and quiet with all the amenities you could want then this IS your place!!! King beds! Mainly adult only was a plus! muffins and coffee at 8am! Pool is amazing! Great Adirondack chairs out front to people watch from. Love this place! Highly recommend! Carrie, Jesse and their hard working son take great care of you!

Lovely old building and very nice staff. The beds amd pillows were surprisingly very comfortable. We will come back here defanatly. Also the location was very convenient and central. Easy walking to town amd restaurants and the beach. The little jacuzzi was lovely and warm? As well as the sweet salt water pool.

The team at the Abalonia make you feel like family. A small family run business, there is care and thought put into everything they do. It’s clear that they care about their property and their guests. The rooms are impeccably clean (they offer daily service if you wish), offer a generous morning spread of baked goods, and are positioned in a great location (just at the edge of the main boardwalk in downtown Ogunquit- not too loud and incredibly convenient). Give them a try, you won’t be sorry that you did. If I haven’t said it already, thank you to the staff of the Abalonia for a great stay!

Such a beautiful place! Great location, easy to walk to town or the beach. Fantastic hot tub and pool. They have towels and beach chairs you can use. Owned by a great family who are easy to contact. Everything was super clean and all around super great!

We have stayed at the Abalonia three times and just love everything about this place. It seems to be family owned and we love supporting the family businesses in Ogunquit. Jesse is helpful, personable, and kind. The morning pastry is delicious and available all day if you need a snack later. The location is perfect and right in the middle of town The pool and hot tub are clean and relaxing. I enjoyed the best water aerobic workout in there. We left feeling rested and happy
