The atmosphere was very homey. My 1st time having African food and I was amazed at all the flavors that danced in my mouth. Fish was smoked and goat was perfect. Healthy choice to any culture!!!! I’ll be back!!!

Food is good and tasty but when ordering the content is reduced compared to when taking out meals yourself. Also When ordering some of the type of meat requested are never added and no apologies or calls for non-availability or substitutions. To me, I see that as part of insincerity. Other than that the food always tastes good.

My husband & I visited for the 1st time Labor Day weekend. We just relocated here from Texas and have been looking for good African/Nigerian food that is close by. The food at Ayo’s was absolutely delicious. Hands down some of the best I’ve had (to date) including from restaurants in other states. Everything was properly well-seasoned and sizable portions. The people are kind, personable and the restaurant is clean. We will be back soon.

Food was trash. The rice was microwaved but better than expected. The meat was freezer burned and overcooked. The soup was cold. I paid almost $30 for this trash and weird stares in the dining room. Now it's 5:30am and my stomach is off on my first day at a new job. I'll never go back again and I encourage you never to go.

Notice a lot of the good reviews are from people who have never eaten African food.....if you have had good African food you will now settle for this. I'll be writing a letter to get an inspector there as fast as possible so when you see this start cleaning up that kitchen

Oh my word!! ikọja!!! My Egusi and cassava fufu came out piping hot and delicious. It was the best that I’ve had in a while. Worth the money and time to get there. Large pieces of fish were used which was great! The portion was enough to share. My hostess had the most beautiful smile as well. I will certainly visit again. Sorry, I didn’t take pictures before I started eating, but trust me the presentation was nice as well.

You must try the Catfish with Jollof rice, the Egusi, Ogbono Soup with Fufu…… this is so delicious and the quality is like I visited the African Country…….. all of these foods have so much health benefits and I can’t believe I ran across this Restaurant but I am happy I did….. we need about 50 restaurants all around Atlanta…….. this is truly the New improve “This Is It Restaurant”….. worth every dollar spent….. If you don’t leave a review you are a real hater……. First time won’t be my last time……

I’ve always gone here without any issues, but today—OMG! I stay in Alabama, and my bus was leaving in two hours, but I still arrived two hours early at this restaurant. My bus ticket cost almost $90 and was non-refundable.

Let me start by saying the lady they had in charge was extremely rude—not just to me, but to other customers as well. They refused to make my food and wouldn’t cancel the order on their end either, since I placed it through Uber Eats for pickup. If I had canceled it myself, they would’ve charged me a fee.

To make matters worse, I ended up missing my bus, and this girl had the nerve to charge me an extra $5 for food . Terrible service and terrible people. Avoid this place at all costs!
