We stopped in at the Playalinda Brewing Company - Brix Project
to pick up some local brews to go. We loved the building and atmosphere there and ended up getting a table on the outdoor patio and ordering lunch. We decided to order a flight, and we really enjoyed all five beers that we tried.

The service and food were awesome. We were greeted and seated right away, and our waitress brought us our flight while we reviewed the menu, We weren't sure how long the food would take as they were packed and very busy when we arrived. Our food was served in less than10 minutes. We tried the beer cheese soup and split the Rib Roast Sandwich, and both were awesome. The servings were generous, as we ended up taking some home.

We narrowed our favorite beer and picked up a six pack of the Robonaut Red Ale, to go. I wasn't sure how it would compare to the draft but, out of the can, it was every bit as good.

So if you are out and about and want to try some good local beer and enjoy some great food in awesome atmosphere, we definitely recommend Playalinda Brewing Company.

By the ...Loved the urinals.

The food was really good; everyone's favorite was the cheese curds with caramel sauce—so good! The burger had really good flavor. The flatbread was okay. The macaroni was pretty decent, also.

Was looking for a place to sample beer and get some food for the family on the way back from the space port to Orlando. Easy traffic to get here and park. Beers were very good, even bough to 4 packs of the hazy ipa and maple cookie to put in checked luggage home, so good enough for the extra effort to transport. They were out of pretzels which bummed the kids out, but they were able to add ham to a grilled cheese to get the smiles going again.

Service was sorely lacking. We got there at 8pm, 2 hours before close, and while they were not that busy, it was chaotic. It took a while for our waiter to come to us and when he did he was very rushed. Food was decent. The Honolulu was a 6/10 despite being highly recommended, the Mac and cheese a 8/10. Cheese curds were pretty good and the root beer was awesome (as it always is). Ambiance was good so we will probably be back, but will try other things.

I'm sure on a slow day, this might be a good spot. But for us, when we went... The service was subpar, the food was average, even the recommend dishes weren't that great. The cheese curds were over cooked for sure; however, the fried pickles were great. Waited forever for drinks, orders were wrong, and everything was slow.

Typical gastro pub attached to a brewery. Small amounts of table space. No handicap access to the patio area meant a long walk for one of those with me.

The server was friendly and prompt with taking our order, but was otherwise slow. Yes, I did have dinner here on a friday, but from what I saw there were only two servers working the patio and it felt like both of them also had tables inside to worry about.

I ordered a draft cocktail, I can't remember the specific name but it had pineapple mango and guava. It was very good, relatively strong, and enjoyable. I would give this an 4 out of 5 stars

We ordered the Bavarian pretzel for the table as an appetizer. We expected a full pretzel, and something roughly 2/3rds the size in a very compact twist shape. It was also covered in what I can only assume was garlic butter. Combined with the pretzel salt this made it way too salty. The mustard was rather bland, and the beer cheese was a spread rather than a dip. Because of this it was unpleasant in texture, and cold which contrasted with the warmth of the pretzel. 3/5 stars

For dinner I had the Brix burger. Beef patty, bacon jam, blue cheese crumbles, a slice of pickled beet, and a slice of beef brisket. The bun looked and tasted like a house made burger bun.

I understand what they were going for with all of these flavors, but it just doesn't come together. For one thing, the brisket slice was sandwiched between the beef patty and the pickled beet. Consequently, the flavor of the brisket was lost in everything else, especially having absorbed some of the juice from the picked beet. The bun also had trouble holding up to the beet juice.

The bacon jam was nice, but was mixed with high quality blue cheese crumbles. I can't believe I can say this, but I couldn't taste bacon there, only the smoky sweetness of the jam on the edges of a blue cheese that overwhelmed it.

All together, the burger was cooked well and had clear direction, but it seems they overshot the number of different flavor profiles by at least a degree.

The fries were good quality and tasty, but could have been crispier.

My dining partner had a sandwich composed of a slice of Brie on a baguette with greens, and a side salad. Their commentary on the sandwich was: enjoyable but not anything extraordinary, and the salad was nice.
