Great experience!

Popped in here just looking around but ended up purchasing gift pendants for the special people back home. They had a lovely selection of sterling silver Pearl pendants in addition to their lovely high -end items mounted in yellow and white gold. Each coming with a certificate of authenticity and a lovely gift-able pouch.

We worked with Mat, and he was wonderful! Knowledgeable and friendly, he was incredibly pleasant to work with and we learned a lot, which I love.

If shopping for pearls in the area, would highly recommend giving this Tahia location a try!

We went to the Tahia Pearl boutique in Papeete and were greeted by the lovely Maruia. She couldn't have been more helpful and patient as we sought to fulfil a request from my father to find a pair of pearl earrings for my mother with a budget of AUD1,000.00. Maruia provided all the relevant details about the pearls (size, shape and quality) along with the approximate AUD values. There was absolutely no pressure to buy and our transaction took place over the course of 3 days with emails back and forth with my father. Maruia even put aside the earrings which had caught my eye. Maruia had advised she would be in their other shop (Manual Pearls) a couple of doors along after our first visit. When we came to make our purchase, Maruia came with us to Tahia Pearls and introduced us to Mat who ultimately handled the sale. My husband purchased a beautiful pair of 14KY drop earrings with A grade, 9.4mm peacock colour pearls for me (that Maruia had been wearing on the first day and caught my eye) and we bought a pair of lovely studs set in 14KY with Tahitian pearls in a beautiful peacock colour for my mother (A grade, semi-round 8.9mm). Mat was also very professional and patient. The whole experience was very positive and from having looked at many, many Tahitian pearls during our cruise around the islands of French Polynesia and even visiting a few pearl farms, I can confidently state that you will not see finer quality or more beautiful pearls, nor lovelier settings or designs anywhere. That quality and friendly, no-pressure service clearly extends also to Tahia Pearls' other boutiques, as we experienced also on Bora Bora.

I came to the shop and was welcomed by the sales assistant Manu. She was very kind and helpful. Unfortunately the owner has already left so I wasn't able to see the loose pearls I wanted, nevertheless, the lady was super helpful and lovely and provided excellent customer service. Would highly recommend.

The wife and I shopped several different pearl shops and Tahia Pearls was by far the best. Our sales guy, Mat, took the time to show us many different pieces before we picked the right one for my wife. He was extremely friendly and very informative. I'd much rather spend my money with someone that takes the time to provide good service with a friendly smile. I plan to purchase a set of earrings to go with my wife's pearl necklace from them in the future. 10/10 highly recommended.

Wir waren auf Vaitape im Pearl Beach Resort & Spa in den Ferien. Dort hat es einen kleinen Laden mit einer schönen Auswahl an schwarzen Perlen. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend und hat uns gut beraten. Die Schmuckstücke wurden sehr schön eingepackt.
