Absolutely delicious food that made me crave more when I was beyond full. The food is imported from Greece and it shows. The feta doesn’t have the funk and the lamb is to die for. Our server was personable and gave some great suggestions for drinks and food. The vibes are incredible with a cute atmosphere and benches along the wall and a very familial sense to it. The only reason we spent a lot was to try everything but it was all very reasonably priced. I can’t wait to come back.

I stopped here back in September for a very early dinner. I started out with falafel with a side of tzatziki before moving onto the main course, chicken souvlaki (with a side of fries). Everything was excellent. The food was fresh and the service was prompt. If I am ever in the area again, I would definitely return.

My wife and I recently ate at YiaYia's for the first time - I had wanted to go there for a few years, but never found the time until now. What a treat this place is. The atmosphere is really unique. The staff are super friendly and very helpful with making recommendations for first time diners. We enjoyed everything we ordered. We'll definitely be coming back here - I can't wait!

We love it here! It's one of the best authentic Greek restaurants in Connecticut by far! The ambiance is adorable and so fun. The food is always perfect and beautiful as well. The restaurant is always clean and impeccably perfect, you can tell they take care of and value the location and it shows with all the details. Highly recommend 🙂

Really fresh and flavorful authentic Greek food! The lamb was tasty and well seasoned, the feta to die for and the falafel was outstanding! Some of our favorites include the eggplant and zucchini chips, the platter of hummus and tzatziki. Recently I tried the gigantes which were a delicious lima bean in a tomato broth cooked to perfection. It's not something I normally would have ordered, but the waitress guided me in the right direction and I'm happy she did. We will always seek this place out for some of the best Greek food in Connecticut outstanding service in an adorable atmosphere

Clean, cozy, authentic Greek food served by friendly, upbeat staff. Loved the Greek music, or more likely a streaming Greek radio station, playing at just the right volume in the background. We went at 2:30 on a Friday so there were maybe three other diners. The calamari was crunchy and laced with hot peppers - so inviting. I had a chicken gyro and my wife ordered the lamb gyro. Both were bulging with Greek-spiced meat, hearty meals by themselves. We would have preferred a bit more vegetables and tzatziki sauce, but that’s just our personal taste. The fries were beefy and filling. Our biggest gripe about YiaYia’s is that it’s 35 miles from our home! Will definitely visit again when we’re in the area.

First visit to Yia Yia’s Greek Kitchen but will definitely not be our last! I ordered the Gigantic Beans as my main course and shared an appetizer order of Yia Yia’s Chips. Both were delicious. My husband ordered Chicken Gyro which comes accompanied by fries. They were great. It was a lot of food…almost too much. You will not leave here hungry.

Our waitress, Meghan, was extremely friendly and efficient.

The restaurant is a little bit on the small side, so get there early if you want a table on a Saturday night. They do a bang up business of takeout evidently!

Excellent food. The atmosphere feels like you're in a European setting. The floors are made of stones I think. I had their chicken gyro and their Mykos beer. I liked the beer but that gyro was really good. I'd come back.
