The rooms have all of the most important things, clean, towels, spacious. Great TV channel selection. The place is an older place, and it’s obvious they have put much effort into keeping things maintained and in working order! Air conditioning worked like a hank. The bed was extremely firm, if that is your cup of tea!
Owners and staff from cleaners all the way to the top were so kind and generous. It’s a homey place! Thank you for the great stay in Lusk Trail Motel!!

Just like being at home. The first and only hotel I’ve been that you are treated like a family member not just a paycheck. Rooms were spotless clean, smelled great and plenty of space. Perfect location across from the fairgrounds but still very quiet in the rooms. 10/10

This place was so clean and welcoming! The rooms were immaculate! I'm very picky where I sleep. I slept so good in the comfy beds. The owners are so friendly and sweet! They welcome pets too. Their dogs were so sweet. I loved their rec room and outside patio where everyone staying was there enjoying talking to everyone. The views are beautiful here too. If you want a laid back clean friendly country but with ammendities place to stay this place is for you! Very reasonable rates too!! Will definitely be back to stay!!

I loved this place! Gave off log cabin staying feelings. The rooms were immaculately clean and welcoming and big. The owners were so friendly and helpful with anything I needed. Just ask they will help or give you advice on local places to visit. They welcome pets too. The break room and patio was so nice! Will definitely be back!

Wonderful place to stay. Very clean very comfortable. Beautiful town . Perfect place to stop for a break on way to Cheyenne or Black Hills or even that direction. Friendly owners. Owner try everything they can to accommodate you. Just ask they will willingly help! Will be back!

Perfect distance from Mount Rushmore. They were the kindest people with the cutest little rooms. It was a great price for a quick sleep spot. Definitely recommend to any travelers!

Just checked in and found the room exceptionally clean. Very impressed for the modest cost of the room.
The owner is very friendly and helpful. Can't say enough good things about this place.

We stopped on our way through the area and it happened to be hunting season, so many of the rooms were filled.
The local hunters know a good deal for a place to stay.

The perfect place to stop for a rest! The staff are so warm and welcoming. The rooms are big, clean, and bright. The outside of the motel gave off charming log cabin vibes. 10/10 would recommend!
