This place was wonderful! As a Vietnamese American, it was very amazing to see Vietnamese food represented in this new style! This place is reminiscent to Chipotle but catters more towards the South East region of Asian! The portion sizes are very reasonable for their price, as the food was very good! Along with the homemade soup which was a nice side dish to wash everything down! I will hopefully be coming back here again!

I definitely won’t be back. Several of the toppings seemed completely unsalted. The pickled medley was just not good, which seems hard to mess up? It just didn’t taste fresh. The meat (I got chicken and braised beef) was pretty grisly, and wasn’t good enough flavor wise to be worth it. The egg was not jammy, it was soft boiled with soft white inside. The base (onion rice and carrots) were honestly the best part, but that’s not saying much. I was initially disappointed at the portion sizing of the toppings for a $20 meal, but after I ate some, I didn’t exactly wish there was more. Although more than 3 tomato halves would’ve been nice.

5 Stars — Absolute Perfection in a Bowl 🥹

I first visited this place when it had just opened and had a great chat with the owner. She mentioned they’d eventually be available on Uber Eats, and I’ve been patiently waiting ever since — especially since I live far away. Now that I can finally order, I’m beyond thrilled. This place has officially become my #1 carryout choice, and honestly, it deserves all the praise💯

As someone who loves food, is super picky, and knows how to cook well, I don’t say this lightly: these are the best elevated, healthy, flavorful bowls I’ve ever had. The care they put into each ingredient is obvious.

Let’s talk protein 🐖 — My personal favorites are the pork belly, brisket, and meatball — all incredibly well-prepared. The pork belly is incredibly tender and rich without being greasy (possibly sous vide?). The brisket is deeply savory and perfectly cooked. And the meatball? (probably one of the best meatballs I’ve ever had).

Then greens and veggies 🥗 — They’re layered beautifully, with a mix of textures and flavors: fresh greens, roasted carrots / potatoes, creamy eggplant, pickled elements, crunchy snap peas, and crispy fried onions or shallots. Every bite gives you contrast, balance, and satisfaction.

The flavor combinations are thoughtful and bold, and the textures are spot-on — nothing soggy, nothing bland. It truly feels like every component was designed to create the most satisfying bowl possible. Every bite makes me feel like I’m in food heaven, and every time I finish one, I already want to order again 🩵

If you’re looking for something nourishing, exciting, and delicious — this place is it!!!

I had a wonderful experience at AN: Serenely SE Asian in Rosslyn, Arlington VA. The service was incredible from start to finish—every staff member was welcoming and attentive. I ordered a little bit of everything, including the shrimp and crispy pork, and everything was absolutely delicious. A special shoutout to Teddy, who provided excellent service and had great knowledge of the menu. His recommendations really enhanced the experience. Highly recommend this spot for amazing food and outstanding hospitality!

This place is phenomenal! We ordered the blazing belly bowl and we also tried the coconut shrimp and the pork meatballs. The atmosphere is great and the ingredients are so fresh. Everything is both healthy and tasty. Highly recommend 10/10. The owner also made our bowls and you can tell she really cares about her customers and restaurant! Definitely check this place out!

Went to a for dinner and it was amazing! There is so much variety in creating your bowl. I loved the addition of the sweet potato as one of the base options for my bowl. The inside had ample seating for us to eat, and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal! Staff was also super nice and helpful

There are very few times I throw out food that I order, but this was just gross. Pork belly was gamy and flavorless, mustard greens overpowered most of the bowl, the rice had a weird after taste, and the sauces were not tasty. Would not recommend. Complete waste of $40.

We ordered from this place a few times on uber eats, and I have to say it’s absolutely delicious! The whole menu is gluten and dairy free, so if you have allergies or dietary restrictions check this place out! You build your own bowl so you have control over the ingredients. Absolutely recommend. Prices were super reasonable as well.
