Lovely salon. Tatjana is an expert colorist. Did a fantastic job understanding what would be best color approach for me and my graying hair after a single consultation. Understood my haircut and worked with me to try and achieve the look I wanted. Excellent first cut. I've been loyal to my previous hairdresser for 30 years in NJ but really wanted to find a local hairstylist I could trust and fall in love with. It was a hard act to follow, but Tatjana delivered!!

God can't be everywhere. That's why he gave us Tatjana. She is the ONLY qualified hair stylist in the greater New Haven area. Her constant focus on continuing education is what gives her the expertise to assess scalp and hair conditions, to determine treatments for damaged hair and select appropriate products. No one can hold a candle to her knowledge of hair product ingredients.
After my 40+ years of hair tragedies, Tatjana has been the ONLY one able to use her knowledge and holistic approach to teach me and to resolve the thinning hair and hair loss I've experienced due to surgeries, medications and post menopausal factors. Tatjana always goes the extra mile to meet her client's needs...including scheduling flexibility, home visits, honest advice and even teaching my husband to style my hair for the months following my shoulder surgery!

I’ve going to Tatjana for over 6 years now. She’s a hidden gem. Salon is intimate and you get her full attention. I initially found her because my color was off and I saw she was a “color correction expert.” She definitely knows what she’s doing and my color has been perfect ever since. Also does amazing cuts and blowouts. I have tons of thick hard to handle hair, and she spends the extra time on it and it always looks perfect when I leave. My college aged daughter has also been going to her for the past 4 years, and loves her as well. I highly recommend her.

Approximately a year ago I had highlights put into my hair for a special occasion by my former hairdresser of many years. She totally fried off my hair. When I would brush or shampoo my hair clumps of my hair would fall out in my hands. They were the size of a quarter and would break up to a ½ inch of my scalp. I would cry and feared I was going to be bald.
A friend (who is also a hairdresser as well) recommended Tatjana to me and said she was a colorist corrector specialist and a miracle worker. When I arrived at the salon I let out a big sigh and knew I was in competent hands. Tatjana not only used special conditioning treatment to stop additional breakage she was able to match the base color of my brown hair to enable the regrowth not to be noticeable. She eliminated my new hair growth skunk stripe! It has been approximately 6 months that I have been going to Tatjana and we have new hair to shape into flattering styles that suit my face shape and personality.

Tatjana is an amazing person, she's insanely talented, she's kind, open minded, easy to talk to, fun to be with. I like her salon, it's cute , comfortable and quiet. I love how it's usually just me and her during my appointment. Her Davines products are excellent. She understands my fine hair and has given me the best cuts and color I've ever had. She teaches me something every time I go. I'd never go somewhere else.
