Went in to the ER with some sort of unknown allergic reaction. The front staff (Donna)was fast to get me checked in and they got me back to a Dr Immediately. Nurse Lori was so kind and compassionate in her care for me. When it came time for needles and IVs, I was amazed that it didn’t hurt at all. She’s good and Dr Novinger took his time and never seemed rushed. Thank you to all the staff at McLeod Health Cheraw.

This place is like an after hour spot where you expect no more or less. You've got rude physicians and nurses. The minute you disagree when without causing issues they call security. They've also been deleting reviews. How can a physician say that 104 isn't a fever in a 3 year old! Stated CT looked fine. Took her to her pediatrician and they found out after her falling and hitting her head she had a febrile seizure. I told the physician he was ridiculous to say 104 wasn't a fever, her nurse gave her Tylenol after I requested they check her temperature. I begin expressing my concerns and he got extremely defensive. Stated that I could just take her elsewhere if I had a problem. I asked him several times to please leave the room. I had vomit from my daughter on my clothing. I was closing the curtain to change so we could take her to Charlotte when the doctor pushed me stating he wasn't completely out the door yet. I filed a complaint and found out this very doctor had been reported for racism and aggressive behavior. Go elsewhere not here!!

Was here 4 hours and still haven't seen the doctor. Had an accident and they didn't even ask if we needed the sheets changed. This isn't the first time we've had to come and wait 4 or 5 hours before we seen a doctor. Next time I will just drive to musc. There isn't any since that it should take this long. Need to hire more doctors

I am not surprised at the low ratings at this hospital!!! This place is a joke!! My husband is a disabled veteran and we had to get a CT scan here today. The check in security guard was very pleasant and helpful. We came into contact with numerous employees while we were waiting for my husband's scan to take place. A lady from supposedly infection disease control came into the family waiting room and was adamant about giving us masks. We talked to several other employees and patients without issues multiple people not wearing masks themselves. Then a hospital police officer came into the family waiting area targeting us specifically because the "infectious disease" lady complained we weren't wearing her masks, even though we were no where near her or her department. Bud B the officer continued to harass us and then got Dan Allen to come in and join in the harassment. They were going to refuse my husband care because he would not wear their face diaper even though Biden and the CDC said the pandemic is over and masks are no longer necessary not to mention this hospital is FEDERAL FUNDED! I am appalled on the way these two men and the lady from infectious disease treated patients. If this hospital would focus more on patient care maybe the ratings would not be so low!! Get off your high horses and do your jobs correctly! I hope we never have to come here again!!!

We are at the hospital in cheraw I've been waiting for 8 hours the nurses are having a good time in playing games each other general hospital is a piece of garbage 🗑️🗑️🗑️🗑️🗑️🗑️

I stopped going to Cheraw Hospital years ago!! When I tell you that my recent visit on 3-15-24 was amazing!!! Dr. Hamidi, Bailey S & Alisha M made me feel so comfortable! They were nice and really showed that they care. I can’t forget about Leigh Ann, the X-ray lady! She was so nice and helpful. This hospital has gained a client back because of these wonderful people.

My husband had an accident with a hatchet and I had to rush him to the ER. I was a mess I tell you! They're was so much blood and it was near an artery. I ran in unsure of what to do because he couldn't walk. A security guard and a male nurse immediately rushed to my vehicle and transported my husband into a room. The security guard saw me visible shaking and took me outside to calm down. He stayed there with me for at least thirty minutes. We talked and he made me laugh and I felt so much better. My husband got all stitched up and we were back home within two hours! What a scary night that was. I'm so thankful for the kind people who cared for both of us.
