Walked by and thought this place was closed. Opened the door and boy was I wrong lol. The hostess was great to talk to, she’s a local high school student and gave me all the tea. I’m from out of town and after a 5 mile hike I wanted a casual place with good food and this place didn’t disappoint. Great happy hour, good food. Highly recommend. The music was good and the audience was lively. Service was a little slow but the place was busy and everyone was very nice.

This has become our local hang out. The staff and regulars, now us, treat you like you belong. Awesome happy hour, best fries ever and I am not a fry girl. Yay entire team!!! Jessica is my favorite bar tender ever!

It's been awhile since dining at JJs. Same casual atmosphere with miderate-level music and TVs on the surrounding walls with some silent variety to watch. Waitresses are usually attentive and helpful. Live music is also occurring on select evenings. Food is decent but seemingly a smaller menu than before. We enjoyed tacos and grilled veggies. Their veggies are quite delicious. They used to have a veggie wrap that was fantastic! It's now missing from the menu, unfortunately. Burgers are popular here, and they do still have a tasty wrap or three. Service is usually good and prompt. It's a smaller dining environment with booths tables and a bar. Can be busy at peak dining times.

I lived in BV several years before moving away for work. JJ's used to be one of our go to spots for dinner. I was excited to try it again after moving back home and I was extremely disappointed. The patty tasted like a frozen patty at best, absolutely no flavor. The bun was stale and hard in places. This is definitely not the JJ's I remember. Don't waste your time or money dining here.

Revising my review. I had lunch here yesterday. I was willing to try JJs again since the first 2 times were carryout and delivery. The chicken fried steak was OK, not great. The sweet potato fries weren't completely cooked. They weren't good at all and I love SP fries. My friends got Reubens and said the meat was too tough for them to eat. The server was friendly and we didn't have a long wait for food. This is my previous review: "We had food delivered. I believe the food sat awhile before being picked up so I am not sure it is the restaurants fault, but fries were soggy and limp. I only got 4 small onion rings that were not very good. Burgers were decent."
