Yep, awesome place. Basic motel but without any negative stigmas. A really great keeper makes it feel like an inn. Room was extremely clean and comfortable. Good view onto the main drag, it’s not noisy, clean patio (all rooms second floor) The location couldn’t be better, next-door to a great cafe, next to a small-hannafords, right smack in town and Sunday-skiing only 15 minutes away.

I can’t recommend this motel enough for those traveling to Sunday River or Mount Abram. The rooms are comfortable, clean, and large enough for a family to share. Ruth, the owner, has owned the motel for many years and cares deeply for her customers. The motel is close to multiple ski mountains and walking distance to food and shopping. I will surely stay again!

This is a cozy little motel right in the heart of downtown Bethel that is essentially a one-woman show.||The owner, Ruthy, is friendly and chatty and provides warm MAine hospitality in about a dozen rooms on the second floor above her clothing boutique in the heart of the quaint little downtown. The largest grocery store in town is two doors down, and there is a popular bakery right next door.||One important thing to know in advance is that all of the rooms are on the second floor and accessible by two staircases.

Best Motel in all of Maine in our opinion. The owners are very professional and personable. Wonderfull. Saddened by her recent loss. We love and admire Ruthie. We stay there often. She remembers us at our name and always gives us our same room. Thank Ruthie!

Stayed here 2 nights. There’s not a lot of amenities but definitely would stay here again. Our 2 double bed room had 2 rockers and a small refrigerator. Towels are the BEST! Beds were comfortable. There’s coffee, tea & hot chocolate in the office. The room was cleaner than ANY chain hotel. One thing that would have made it better would have been a microwave in the room. Owner said she would microwave for you, in fact she did. I had her zap my coffee in the morning. ||There’s NO elevator. You have to climb stairs to get to the rooms.

This old family owned motel is a good value with excellent service. It is within walking distance of downtown Bethel. There is plenty of coffee and tea but no breakfast at this motel. This is across the street from Mountain Social restaurant. The room was clean. We would stay here again!

This motel is old but it is well-kept and comfortable. Spacious rooms and the owners are onsite and have coffee on before 6 in the morning. Very friendly people and anxious to please. The motel is situated between a grocery store and a bakery; everything one needs! Nice little town and quiet. We’ve stayed there twice and would return - very reasonably priced, as well.

Very cute homey place to stay in the middle of town. Ruthie is a delightful owner. My husband and I always enjoy our stay here.
