If I could give Hahira Veterinary Clinic six stars, I would but my dogs insist five is the legal limit. And if my three dogs could leave reviews, HVC get a five-star rating, a standing ovation, and a few treats as tribute. Unfortunately, they lack opposable thumbs and a grasp of the English language, so I’ll do the honors. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted by the loveliest staff, who manage to calm both nervous pets and their equally nervous humans. The team here doesn’t just treat your pets, they speak their language. Whether it’s a routine check-up, an emergency visit, or a dramatic pet convinced they’re dying because they sneezed once and insisted on seeing the Doctor, HVC handles it all with skill, patience, and a brilliant dose of humor. Prices? Reasonable. Service? Exceptional. Ability to make my dogs feel like they own the place? 10/10. If you love your pets (and let’s be honest, they run the house), this is the place to take them. Trust me, all my dogs actually like coming here, and that says everything.

We had to say goodbye to our Kona this morning and I can’t thank the office staff enough for how kind and compassionate you all were to our family. Dr. Tanner and Dr. David were so patient and kind to us. The receptionist heard my cries and understood to make the appointment promptly. I asked for water for her and they came water and treats. From the bottom of our hearts thank y’all.
I highly recommend this wonderful vet if you want someone who cares and they definitely do!

I can’t say enough wonderful things about Dr. Ruff and his team! Not only is he one of the most caring and personable veterinarians I’ve ever encountered, but he is clearly in the profession for all the right reasons. He took the time to thoroughly investigate my cat’s illness, never giving up until he got to the root cause. Thanks to his expertise and dedication, she’s now completely healthy and back to her happy self!

Dr. Ruff was incredibly flexible in getting her seen quickly, which made such a difference during a stressful time. He has a friendly and compassionate approach that instantly puts you and your pet at ease. The front desk staff is also amazing—they even followed up a couple of days after our visits to check in on my cat and see how she was doing. This level of care and commitment is rare to find. I’m so grateful for Dr. Ruff and his team and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for top-notch care for their fur babies! Thanks for helping my Mama Kitty ❤️

I have struggled with finding good care for my dog, Mila. We found Hahira Veterinary Clinic during the aftermath of Hurrican Helene. Last minute they welcomed her and got her on the mend that day! She had to have surgery and it was urgent. I'm impressed by the caring doctors and staff! We even got a call to see how she was doing. 10 out of 10! I would recommend this pet hospital any day to anyone!

They are great with my animals. The Vets take the time to sit down with you after every appt to go over everything they did and answer any questions you may have without you feeling rushed. All the staff is wonderful and the prices are pretty reasonable. I wouldn't take my fur babies anywhere else.

After other clinics gave me a run around, The Hahira Veterinary Clinic did a complete study and provided what was happening, why, and what it was not. By treating my therapy cat, Dr. Ruff and staff also indirectly helped my anxiety and PTSD. So happy and at peace with my decision to drive the miles to see Dr. Ruff and staff. Dr. Ruff always takes his time with us and goes over everything. He is amazing. I would also like to mention Alice. She is always so kind and patient. She always makes us feel like our pets are really special. Amazing personality!
