I tried for weeks to get a simple pregnancy test ordered so I could get a referral to Tripler. I would call, they told me they "passed a message to my provider", and a week would go by with nothing.
I message in the portal, and the response I get is that my assigned PCM is now in Korea. I call again and make an entirely new request, no call. I message in the portal. No response.
I call AGAIN and finally I get a call later saying they ordered lab tests and to go in. I spend 40 minutes waiting in the lab only for the lab to finally say there were 0 tests ordered for me in their system. I've known I am pregnant for weeks and STILL can't get a simple referral because I can't get a 5 minute test from this group.

Not only that, but dental appointments are currently *at least* pushed put 90 days from when you're due.

Their immunizations clinic is also HORRENDOUSLY slow. Even a simple shot takes 2 hours. The Sgt Young they have there is very rude.

Horribly incompetent medical group.

I was a little disappointed that I was unable to get an appointment within a week, as something serious popped up last minute and I have to go over seas last minute and needed a new prescription. I was so impressed by the effort that doctor Quintana’s nurse Caroline put in to make sure I got my prescription before I had to leave. Thank you, Caroline. I really appreciate you!!!

Make sure to plan an extra hour or two if you need to pick up anything from the pharmacy.

Probably one of the worst AF clinics. This place is severely understaffed for the AF population it serves in the area and its clear a second clinic needs to be opened to facilitate the whole AF population on the island. This review isn't a reflection on the Airmen and doctors who work here, but with frustrations in getting actual medical care.

It can take up to 3 months sometimes (usually over a month) to see your PCM about a medical issue and when you finally get to see your doctor, most of the time your condition has already passed or has become worse. Getting simple things like profiles signed by your PCM is a nightmare and can take 1-2 weeks in a process that should theoretically be instant or done within 24 hours. It's very rare that I give sub-3 star reviews.

This clinic is wonderful! The employees are friendly and professional and the pharmacy staff are always happy to answer questions regarding medications.
I especially appreciate the lab because everyone there is super nice and great at blood draws.

It's a pretty decent clinic as far as military clinics go. MHS Genesis finally allows you to make an appointment online. So that was a plus. The personnel that I saw did a great job. As usual there was minimal to no wait being seen, unlike from what I remember when you're seen by a civilian physician. The building itself is really cool too. It still has scars from the Imperial Japanese attack on December 7, 1941. Very historical and interesting to see in person.

Waited a month and a half for a public health appointment, show up and get told they forgot to call me to cancel. Asked when I could be seen next and can’t be seen for another month and a half.

Previously public health has rescheduled me during a Friday appointment once I had already shown up do they could do early dismissals.

Told my only other option is the Er of schofield urgent clinic 30 minutes away.

Two stars is a pretty bad review and I don’t usually leave reviews this bad but this place has a lot of things wrong with it. In general the system TriCare here on Oahu is the worst I have ever experienced. To start almost all of the phone numbers to even try and get an appointment are wrong. Most of the time I have to end up calling the nurse advice line just to get put in the right direction even then they can’t get people to answer half of the time. Additionally once you get past the nurses and they put out a notice at the the clinic you still have to wait for a call back, which is fine. BUT I have never had them call me back within a 48 hour period and when you have COVID-19 and are requesting more medication to help you breath it’s kinda a big deal that they call you back promptly. Even then I have had six other occasions where they just never called me back. And when I call them to ask why they say I never picked up, which has prevented me from getting medication refills and referrals. And there was the time where I was prescribed something that had penicillin in it, which I am extremely allergic to ( I have an allergy alert in their system already). I’m not even going to start with the problems I’ve had with my provider who refused to give me a referral to get on a new birth control. I’m not sure how it is at the other clinics here on Oahu but I do know this for sure if you had to pick I wouldn’t choose this one.
